He passed the rod to Sun Lang, freeing his hands to settle accounts with Old Zhang.
"Aunt Zhang, is this the report written by Uncle Zhang?" Shi Tian asked, reaching out to take the report from Aunt Zhang's hands. He flipped through it casually in front of her, noticing it was all handwritten. Old Zhang was quite persistent!
Old Zhang knew that once the report was submitted, the issue of fishing would be put to rest. His only concern now was how to face Aunt Zhang's wrath. As long as he got through this, he could fish as he pleased in the future, even if it meant occasionally being yelled at by Aunt Zhang.
While Shi Tian was examining Old Zhang's literary skills, Li Ziyu approached with a Korean-style landing net in hand. She leaned closer to Shi Tian, glancing at the feasibility study on fishing presented by Old Zhang. She swung the Korean-style landing net playfully, causing Aunt Zhang to flinch and step back instinctively.
"Aunt Zhang, there’s something wrong with this feasibility report! The expenses don’t add up!" Li Ziyu exclaimed as she took the report from Shi Tian and presented it to Aunt Zhang. "The massage fees are way too high; it can’t just be a regular massage. I’ve heard from friends that Thai massages are somewhat similar to this price!"
"Thai massage," she continued, "is just like what you see in the movies—clothes off, some oil applied, and they massage you from head to toe!"
Earlier, she had heard Old Zhang sell out Shi Tian without hesitation. Since Old Zhang was being unreasonable, she wouldn’t hold back either! If fate didn’t teach Old Zhang a lesson now, who knows how much more Shi Tian would suffer at his hands in the future!
As Li Ziyu spoke up, Old Zhang felt like jumping out of his skin! He had merely jotted down a number, worried that if he wrote too low it wouldn’t provoke the 'mother tiger,' so he exaggerated a bit. How did this turn into a discussion about Thai massages?
"Aunt Zhang, these costs are also incorrect. For one person singing, it’s just a small package fee; the complimentary drinks and fruit platter should be enough—it definitely shouldn’t cost this much!"
Old Zhang was getting anxious! If he didn’t clarify things now, he might lose his legs later!
"Wife, that price was just something I wrote down randomly! I’ve never been there and don’t know the actual cost. I was afraid of underestimating it, so I increased the budget a little bit. I really don’t know anything about Thai massages!"
Li Ziyu usually appeared gentle and quiet but turned out to be quite fierce when she spoke up! This girl was intimidating; he would have to steer clear of her in the future!
"Uncle Zhang, didn’t you say this report was written by Tian Ge? I thought Tian Ge had been there and knew the prices! You’re making it easy for people to misunderstand!"
After complaining about Old Zhang, Li Ziyu grabbed Shi Tian’s hand and walked away, leaving several people behind in shock.
He still had a few big moves left unused! And now Li Ziyu had come to his rescue? Following her to the coffee shop, Shi Tian rubbed his nose; all those brain cells wasted! Had he known Li Ziyu would show up, he wouldn’t have bothered thinking so hard!
Once they entered and sat down, everyone was present—Yun Wan'er and Lu Ying Er were there too, along with Jiu Yue and Shi Yi. Even Fei Fei, who had been extremely busy lately, was there scribbling notes.
Everyone was here! What kind of urgent meeting was going on?
Fei Fei rarely came upstairs; with how busy she had been these past few days, it was surprising she showed up here at all. Since she was here writing notes, they must be discussing something important.
"Someone has their eye on the Seafood Restaurant!" Fei Fei lamented. "A woman came yesterday and ordered a plate of Pipi shrimp. She occupied a table alone from morning until closing without finishing her plate!"
At first, they thought she might be waiting for someone or had something on her mind and didn’t want to rush her. But today she returned with two others—each taking a table with their own plate of Pipi shrimp—and they had been sitting there for over three hours while only eating one shrimp! They were just playing on their phones!
Hearing Fei Fei’s complaints made Shi Tian frown; this situation was quite disgusting!
Someone has really set their sights on the Seafood Restaurant, and we can't just kick them out. If we do, it'll definitely cause a scene. If it escalates online, it could turn into a big deal!
None of us have experience dealing with situations like this, but Yun Wan'er surely has a plan. If she can't handle this kind of trouble, her business wouldn't have lasted this long; it would have been shut down ages ago!
Make sure the staff keeps an eye on things and prevents any conflicts. They're just waiting for a reason to stir up trouble!
After reminding Fei Fei, Yun Wan'er said, "We need to handle this immediately. With three of them here, if we don't address it, they'll start clashing in the restaurant tomorrow, and the police won't be able to help!"
Listening to Yun Wan'er's assessment, it seems that occupying seats isn't the only issue; there's more to come!
We shouldn't rush them out or neglect them; we need to serve them well today.
If they’re looking for trouble, let them be! The old man is probably looking to make an example of someone to clean up the bad atmosphere around here. I’ll let him know about this, and he’ll owe me a drink for it! Seeing that Yun Wan'er was about to go on at length, Shi Tian quickly interjected.
