"Xiao Tian, are you going to Shandong tomorrow as well?" Kong Yunfei casually asked as they got off the bus.
Upon arriving at the hotel, Shi Chui and the others were already waiting for them. They had been waiting an extra day for Shi Tian. From here, they would head east to Panyang Lake and then travel along the Yangtze River all the way to Jiangnan. Over the past two days, they had refined their travel plans significantly.
As they entered the hotel, Shi Chui was still reciting the "Preface to the Tengwang Pavilion." This was a must-see on their itinerary; memorizing it would grant them free admission. For this trip, there was no budget for tickets to Tengwang Pavilion, and with Yun Wan'er easily securing a spot, Kang Ziyu was also not far behind. Lu Ying Er, being an academic achiever, had no issues either. With three against one, Shi Chui felt he had suffered quite a bit just to gain entry to Tengwang Pavilion!
"Tomorrow we’re going to Hubei to see the stars. Their family has moved, and I wonder how they’re settling in!" Kang Ziyu answered before Shi Tian could speak.
Last time they were in Changsha, Kang Ziyu wanted to take Shi Tian to Cha Dong but time was tight, and Shi Tian had left the next day. This time, with Shi Tian visiting again, she was determined to take her to Cha Dong and share with her the tranquility and vibrant atmosphere of that place.
Looking at Kang Ziyu, Shi Tian quickly nodded and said, "Yes, it's been a while since I've seen the stars. I really miss them! We definitely have to go see them this time!"
Watching these two harmonize so well, everyone at the table exchanged smiles; it seemed these two were ready to venture out into the world together!
"What a pity! We were hoping to go fishing at Ganjiang, but it looks like you won’t have the chance now!" Shi Chui teased as he beckoned Kong Yunfei and Sun Lang to take a seat.
Many areas of Ganjiang were off-limits for fishing; however, some parts were open for leisure fishing. The regulations were more lenient than those on the Yangtze River—two rods per person and two hooks per rod!
Shi Tian remained unfazed by Shi Chui's invitation. Fishing at Ganjiang? What would they catch? Mai Sui? She heard that they were overpopulated there!
"If we held a Bait Contest over there, it should be quite fun! A hundred fish in an hour is guaranteed; catching two or three hundred is just normal. To win a prize, you'd probably need to start at four hundred!"
"Alright! I'll leave my car with you guys. Tomorrow I'll ride with Shi Laodi. It's been a while since I've had a chance to relax with him!" With that, Kong Yunfei pulled out his car keys and handed them over to Shi Tian.
The car was a luxury model—a Maybach—talk about being ostentatious!
The next morning, Shi Tian drove Kong Yunfei's Maybach towards Kong Yunlong's neighborhood with Kang Ziyu. Kang Ziyu called Kong Yunlong down to move his car so they could park in his spot.
They had already discussed their trip to Cha Dong last night; driving there would take too long, so taking the High-Speed Rail would be more convenient.
After grabbing their gear and locking up the car, Shi Tian handed the keys over to Kong Yunlong.
Since returning from Thailand, Shi Tian had only brought back his Rod; he left the Fishing Box on Air Force One for emergencies when Shi Ye and the others might need it. After all, the Fishing Box could create an American Style Landing Net.
The Small Tackle Box wasn’t needed for now; even if he did need it later, he could easily make another one after returning to Sanya. The market for his Hooks was already established; these Points weren't worth much.
He asked an unreliable group to send over his custom Hand Rod along with a Small Tackle Box while leaving the Boat Rod for Sun Lang to bring back when he returned home.
"Uncle Long! We need to catch the High-Speed Rail! We're leaving!" After greeting Kong Yunlong, Shi Tian led Kang Ziyu out of the neighborhood.
"Catching the High-Speed Rail? Let me give you a ride!" Since starting work on the Carbon Fiber Project, Kong Yunlong had been extremely busy; he only managed to join them for dinner halfway through last night.
"There's no need, you can rest. We'll just call a ride-sharing service, and it will be here soon!"
"It's hard to get a taxi around here. Let me give you a ride!" With that, he took the Small Tackle Box from Shi Tian's hands and stuffed it into his own trunk. This time, Shi Tian had no choice but to get in the car!
