A fine of five thousand? That should definitely serve as a lesson.
While five thousand may not seem like much, for an ordinary person, it's quite a significant amount. The average salary in Tongling hovers around seven thousand; after covering basic expenses like food and rent, and if one were to own a car, there wouldn’t be much left at the end of the month. If someone were to indulge a little, say by dating, five thousand could take months to save up.

Listening to Shi Tian's complaints startled Li Yunfei. Old Kong calling Shi Tian about Yi Laotou's birthday indicated something was up! However, he realized he couldn’t get involved; this was clearly orchestrated by Old Kong, and Shi Tian was likely unaware of the full picture!
Shi Tian planned to bring Li Ziyu along; if there were events he could participate in, Shi Tian would certainly include him. If not, knowing too much could lead to trouble—better to pretend he knew nothing!
As Float twitched and the rod lifted, a six-gram float revealed a catch of less than five grams of Xiao Mai Sui—at least it wasn’t entirely empty!

"Why open so many stores? There are plenty of fishermen in Suzhou and Hangzhou too; do you want to set up a branch there as well? Or just focus on your online store! Once your brand is established online sales will suffice—it saves money and effort!"
But opening a branch here wouldn’t be bad either; moving the logistics warehouse here would make management easier. After considering it for a moment, Shi Chui thought that opening a branch here might actually be a good option.
"You should talk to Old Kong about this! Let him set up a branch of the Fishing Education Club here; surely he can spare you some space for your store? Then you could hire a manager as Tang Zhu—wouldn’t that be even better?"
Li Yunfei’s suggestion caught both Shi Tian and Shi Chui off guard. Daring to propose such an idea involving Old Kong showed Li Yunfei had some guts!
However, what Li Yunfei said made sense; if they set up a branch here they would certainly be enthusiastic about it. But it might not happen in Yangzhou—it could easily end up in Hangzhou instead because of its proximity to the sea!
"I’ll mention it to Old Kong later and see if he’s interested! But if we let him take charge, he might just move the club over to Hangzhou or Zhoushan instead—buying some boats and taking people out fishing at sea!"
