Shi Ye arrived after a long journey, reaching Anhe Town just as dawn broke. He found Shi Tian still busy brainwashing Xiao Feng. As soon as Shi Ye got out of the car, he grabbed Shi Tian and took him to the backyard.
"Where's your draft? Show it to me!"
For the sake of this draft, Shi Ye had abandoned matters in Myanmar and rushed over directly. This was something he couldn't discuss over the phone; he had to handle it personally. He didn't even trust Manager Liu with these things.
"How did you get here so quickly? I thought you would finish up in Myanmar before coming!"
As soon as the warehouse door opened, Shi Ye swiftly grabbed a disc from the Blueprint and stuffed it into his pocket. Then he picked up the topmost Blueprint to take a look.
"It’s nothing particularly impressive—just some parts for the Wheel, like the Ceramic Bearing!" He pulled out a small Ceramic Bearing from his pocket and handed it to Shi Ye.
Although the Ceramic Bearing was small, it was quite advanced in terms of technology. However, domestically produced ones still fell short in some aspects.
"This thing has plenty of uses. The Ceramic Bearing is highly wear-resistant and hard, and most importantly, it can withstand high and low temperatures without deforming or corroding. Plus, it's lightweight, which means it generates less centrifugal force and can endure extremely high speeds. That's why it's indispensable in aviation, aerospace, and cutting-edge medical fields."
Playing with a small bearing from Xia Shou's collection, Shi Ye casually tossed it to Shi Tian. He had plenty of these; all the rods he bought came with spare bearings that he had already had someone study.
"This stuff is mostly used in military and aviation aerospace applications. I’ll discuss it with my father! After locking up the warehouse, I’ll call for a small delivery van to transport the Blueprint into the villa area."
"This yard is getting a bit cramped. Last time I asked my father for an island for you; let’s have this little workshop moved there!" After glancing at Shi Tian's small workshop, Shi Ye instructed him.
"An island? Where? When will it be transferred to my name?" Hearing about becoming an island owner made Shi Tian immediately excited. There weren't many people playing with islands domestically; mainly because the procedures were too complicated and the investment was too large—most people simply couldn't afford it.
When it came to personal islands in China, the most developed one was Wuzhizhou in Sanya, followed by Delta in Huizhou, Guangdong. Other than that, there wasn’t much development; at most, there were a couple of small houses for personal use.
"We haven't even decided which island yet! Why rush? I want Wild Boar Island in Yalong Bay, but it's a bit difficult! That area is military territory and also a nature reserve!"
Wild Boar Island was quite beautiful and close by, which Shi Tian liked very much.
But liking it didn’t matter; that place belonged to the military.
Shi Tian hadn’t expected Shi Ye to have such grand ambitions, aiming straight for Wild Boar Island right off the bat. If they could secure Wild Boar Island, that would be impressive!
"Go for it, Ye Ge! I’m rooting for you!" However, Shi Tian didn’t hold out much hope for Wild Boar Island.
There weren’t many islands around Sanya; those with larger areas were even rarer. Wild Boar Island counted as one—it was uninhabited and not too difficult to acquire.
Further north was Dazhou Island, but that was impossible; it had been a protected area for eight or nine years now—fishing there would get you chased away.
Then there were Xidao and Dong Island near Sanya Bay. Xidao was out of the question since people lived there. Dong Island had fewer residents, but acquiring it wouldn’t be easy either; thus, Wild Boar Island remained the best option.
Aside from Hainan, if they had to settle for less, there were Zhoushan and Huizhou where islands were plentiful and acquiring one would be relatively easy. However, having many islands wouldn’t help much since winters there were too cold for enjoyment. Even in Huizhou during wintertime, you couldn’t catch any fish at sea!
