In the Ice Chamber, Pingtou Ge patted the dusty hand that had been resting there. "Xiao Tian, is this the new ship you ordered? Impressive! It's much larger than the Mini Air Force. Wait here, I'll go grab the Rod and take a spin on the sea!"
Though he mentioned retrieving the Rod from the platform, he turned and dashed into the ship's cabin. There probably wasn't much on the Feiqiao; valuable items wouldn't be stored there, so he decided to skip it for now. He would first search the lower deck, and if he found nothing, he could always check the Feiqiao later.
Seeing Pingtou Ge head to the lower deck, Shi Tian didn't follow him. Li Ziyu was down there and would surely take good care of Pingtou Ge.
As soon as he entered the lower deck, Li Ziyu rushed over. "Brother! You promised to come see me at Sanya before heading to the platform. You’re breaking your promise!"
Before Pingtou Ge could even confront Li Ziyu, she had already turned the tables on him, leaving him speechless. Yesterday, when they had sailed over for a quick tour without stopping, they hadn't even called him "brother" over the radio before speeding off without a trace! He had intended to confront them about it but hadn’t even opened his mouth before she started giving him a hard time.
He had indeed made that promise, but after meeting Shi Tian and both of them sporting black eyes, how could he face her? If he did see her, wouldn’t she just run off to complain to Old Li and Old Hu? How could he enjoy his time then?
Sighing, he said, "I’ve just arrived at your villa's doorstep when I got an urgent call from the company asking me to head to the platform immediately. Thankfully, Xiao Tian gave me a ride here!"
Not wanting to dwell on that issue any longer, Pingtou Ge quickly changed the subject. "Xiao Tian, this ship is beautiful! You must have named it! With your limited creativity, I doubt you could come up with such a poetic name!"
"Come on, show me around! I've never seen such a gorgeous ship before! Which room belongs to the owner? I heard that room is the most luxurious on board!"
The owner's room was typically the master suite on yachts; both Air Force and Mini Air Force had one as well. On Mini Light Boat, Shi Tian would definitely be occupying that room where good things were likely hidden.
Before Li Ziyu could respond, Pingtou Ge had already pushed open the door. There were only four rooms in total; after checking each one briefly, it was clear that the largest room belonged to Shi Tian.
Under the guise of touring the ship, Pingtou Ge searched through each room while Li Ziyu obediently followed behind without stopping him. She quietly observed; how could he be persuaded to supply provisions for the ship if he didn’t thoroughly check?
"Brother," Li Ziyu said with a pitiful tone as Pingtou Ge finished searching the last room. "Yesterday when we got our boat documents, Tian Ge brought me to see you. But this was also his first time operating this ship; we got lost at sea until it was completely dark. We asked a few fishing boats for directions and only managed to find our way back thanks to their lights."
"We were in such a rush that there was nothing to eat on board; we still haven't eaten lunch from yesterday!"
Pingtou Ge shot Li Ziyu a glance of disbelief. They had gotten lost at sea? Shi Tian had been to the platform so many times! Even without navigation equipment, they should have been able to follow other fishing boats back!
"You two just came by yesterday to tease me for a moment before turning around and speeding off without even calling out over the radio!"
He sighed again as he looked at Li Ziyu; her only excuse was that they hadn’t eaten yet. It was hard for him to believe anything she said when there wasn’t even a bottle of drink on this ship!
