"Old man, this boat hasn't been refueled yet. I need to head over to the hotel for supplies. Are you all coming along? If not, I'll just take a few of the old guys for a spin on the sea and then stop by the hotel for supplies. If we don't take them out for a ride, we won't have lunch."
"Let's go together! Take us old men out on your boat for a spin so we can enjoy the sea breeze." Shi Tian invited, and Old Kong immediately agreed.
He called the hotel to prepare for the supplies and decided to take a few old men for a quick tour on the sea before heading to the hotel. Once the ropes were untied and he pushed down on the throttle, they would definitely not be able to go far. He planned to circle around Wild Boar Island in Yalong Bay and then speed back to the hotel.
"Xiao Tian, don't you need fuel? Fill up the tank so we can set sail directly tomorrow." As he watched box after box of cooking wine being loaded onto the boat, Old Kong casually asked from the sofa.
"No, let's wait until we get to Guangdong. Fuel is expensive here; in Guangdong, you can save eight cents per liter of diesel!"
"If we fill up here, cruising at speed from here to Zhoushan, we might not even need to refuel along the way."
"But Hainan oil is pricey. It's better to refuel in Guangdong where you save eight cents per liter. That could save over six hundred bucks for a full tank. Why wouldn't you want that?"
"Are you really counting every cent? We should fill up! It’s a long journey; we can't afford to run low!"
Before Old Kong finished speaking, Old Wen chimed in, "It's quite a distance from here to Zhoushan. It might be tiring for you to drive alone; do you want to find someone to switch off with?"
It was indeed not close to Zhoushan—two thousand miles, which was over a thousand nautical miles. This distance was not much shorter than a trip to Nansha and might even be further.
The last time they went to Nansha on Air Force, they took turns driving among three people. Even with three drivers, they were exhausted; doing it alone would be too much.
"I want someone to help me drive too, but Jun Ge isn’t available and Sun Lang doesn’t have a license. It’s not very reassuring driving close to the coast without a license!"
Long-distance travel on a small yacht wasn’t comfortable at all. If someone could help him drive over, he would rather take Li Ziyu on a plane instead of enduring that hardship.
"Xiao Li has a license; if you don’t want to drive, you can ask him for help." Shi Tian suggested.
"Your senior brother has a license; I’ll call him later and see if he can help you out!" Old Liu added quickly.
With these two helping out, it would certainly make the journey much easier.
"Li Ge is fine; does my master have time? I’ll call tonight. If he’s available, that would be great."
The old men finally did something considerate; although they hadn’t spoken up directly, their demeanor clearly indicated they wanted to accompany him to Zhoushan. With Li Ge and Scallion Ginger Fishy helping out, his journey would be much smoother.
"I'll handle calling him; you focus on getting supplies ready! We need enough supplies!" He pulled out his phone and urged Shi Tian aside as Yi Laotou began issuing orders to Scallion Ginger Fishy.
Scallion Ginger Fishy's resort was doing quite well lately; they had previously been eager to open a store, and now seemed like the right time.
With the excuse of personally taking him to conduct market research in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, how could Scallion Ginger Fishy not eagerly rush forward? Playing in Sanya during winter and in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai during summer, it was impossible for Scallion Ginger Fishy not to be tempted.
