After receiving the gift, I powered down the drone and stowed it back in the cabin.
"Bro, Soy Sauce and Wasabi, I'm ready! Let's see who catches a fish first!" Stepping out of the cabin with a small rod in hand, I called out to the guy across from me who was changing his lure.
The big rod was set aside; since it was boring anyway, I decided to use the small rod to stock up on some bait fish while the fishing conditions were good.

Just as he cast his line, a pod of dolphins swam playfully between our two boats. Well, that meant no need to cast my line now!
I removed the hook from Antarctica and propped my rod aside; there would definitely be no Xiao Yu for at least half an hour. With dolphins passing through, Xiao Yu would retreat. If only I could tame a dolphin; when Xiao Yu was causing trouble, I could have it swim around and instantly calm the entire surface of the water!
Fishing at Qiandao Lake requires a fishing license. For locals, it costs one hundred yuan; for non-locals, it's eight hundred yuan. If you fish without a license, the first offense incurs a fine of one thousand yuan, and subsequent offenses double—two thousand for the second time. By the third time caught, it’s not just three thousand; it doubles again to four thousand.
With such escalating fines, it could get complicated! If someone got caught ten times or so, they’d be bankrupt! Even with a license, there are restrictions: one person can only have three rods—one line and one hook per rod—and you can catch a maximum of ten fish or five kilograms at once; exceeding that also incurs fines!
Getting a license isn’t difficult; just take your ID and two passport photos to the administrative hall, pay the fee, fill out some fishing regulations forms, and you’ll get your fishing license. However, Sun Lang had been trying for several days and still hadn’t managed to get his Qiandao Lake fishing license.
It wasn’t that anyone was deliberately making it hard for him; it was just that new policies hadn’t been implemented yet, so he couldn’t apply right now. "Lock down the drag and pull hard! Don’t let it escape!" urged his friends from across the way as they noticed Shi Tian had hooked a fish.
"Locking down the drag? Do you think I’m foolish?" he retorted. He was using a Star Brand Reel with a thousand meters of line, and its drag system worked perfectly even in high temperatures. Why would he lock down the drag and let it run?
With that, he put on his cut-resistant gloves and prepared to help reel in the line. Despite how small his Rod looked compared to others, its power and drag system were not something to underestimate.
Seeing everyone watching his Rod closely, Shi Tian decided not to worry about it anymore. He took off his gloves and lit a cigarette; from then on, everything was left to the Electric Reel.
With so many people watching—including even the captain from Lucky Star—it felt like such an advertisement opportunity wouldn’t go to waste! Once this fish was reeled in, while he couldn’t guarantee an increase in Rod sales, he was sure that sales of leaders or fishing lines would definitely rise.
The fish came up quickly; perhaps because he had tightened the drag a bit more and given that this area wasn't very deep, he hadn’t let out too much line during the initial struggle.
After more than ten minutes of reeling in, he saw single-digit numbers displayed on the Electric Reel. Leaning over the side of the boat, he could finally see a white shape beneath the water.
With a quick hook motion and a lift upwards, a Dajinqiang immediately broke through the surface of the water.
Lu Ya and Air Force One exerted their strength, pinning a large Dajinqiang down onto the deck. They covered the Tuna's eyes with a cloth, holding the fish firmly in place as they awaited Shi Tian to retrieve the hook.
However, this fish was massive and incredibly strong. Even with both of them giving it their all, the Tuna continued to thrash on the deck.
"We've got it pinned down; hurry up and get the hook!" Before Shi Ye could finish his sentence, he lifted his right foot and stepped on the head of the Mahi Mahi, urging Shi Tianyi to act quickly.
"It's a hundred and eighteen-pound Xiao Jinqiang!" As soon as the hook was removed, Shi Tian quickly announced the weight of the fish, eager to show off and ensure everyone knew just how impressive their catch was.
