In the makeshift medical station nestled in the valley, the atmosphere was tense yet orderly. Chen Xue and the disciples of the Hidden Sect were fully immersed in their work, tending to the injured. They understood that every second counted when it came to saving lives.
Chen Xue held a herb that emitted a peculiar fragrance, a precious medicinal plant she had brought from the Chen Family's storied apothecary, known for its miraculous healing properties. With practiced hands, she crushed the herb and squeezed out its green juice, gently applying it to the wound of a severely injured person. The agonized expression on the patient's face began to ease as soon as the juice made contact.
"Miss Chen, this medicine is truly magical; the pain has lessened significantly," the injured man said gratefully.
Chen Xue smiled reassuringly. "Don't speak; just rest well. You'll be better soon." With that, she took a healing pill and fed it to him.
The disciples of the Hidden Sect each employed their unique medical skills. One disciple, skilled in acupuncture, wielded silver needles that glimmered as they pierced precisely into the patient's acupoints like shooting stars. As the needles entered, the chaotic spiritual energy within the patient began to stabilize. Another disciple utilized his spiritual power to extract the medicinal essence from the herbs, channeling it into the injured person's body to expedite recovery.
Liang Tian assisted nearby, his eyes filled with concern as he watched his wounded comrades. He silently vowed to eradicate the Dark Organization so that no one would suffer again. He moved tirelessly among the injured, passing herbs and aiding in treatments without pause.
During the treatment, Chen Xue suddenly noticed a severely injured Jianghu Hero slipping into unconsciousness, his breath faint. Frowning, she immediately conferred with the disciples of the Hidden Sect about a rescue plan.
"This brother's injuries are too severe; ordinary pills and herbs may not suffice," an elder from the Hidden Sect remarked.
After a moment of contemplation, Chen Xue suggested, "Perhaps we could try using the Revitalizing Elixir. It’s an ancestral healing remedy from the Chen Family and should be effective for such grave injuries."
However, the Revitalizing Elixir was extremely rare and scarce; there were only a few bottles left in the entire Chen Family. But given the urgency of the situation, there was no time for hesitation. Without a second thought, Chen Xue pulled out a small jade vial from her robe and carefully poured out a single drop of crystal-clear liquid, administering it to the injured man.
As soon as that drop of Revitalizing Elixir entered his mouth, color returned to his previously pale face, and his breathing gradually steadied. Chen Xue and the disciples of the Hidden Sect sighed in relief at this sight.
Time slipped by amidst their urgent efforts. After much hard work, most of the patients' conditions were under control. Their wounds began to heal, and their spiritual energy slowly restored. Watching their comrades improve brought smiles of relief to Chen Xue and her fellow disciples of the Hidden Sect.
Liang Tian looked at the scene before him, filled with gratitude. He walked over to Chen Xue and said softly, “Chen Xue, thank you for your hard work. If it weren't for you and the efforts of our fellow disciples, the consequences would have been unimaginable.”
Chen Xue lifted her head and smiled as she replied, “This is what I should do. We are all here to stop the Dark Organization and protect this world. Besides, seeing that everyone's injuries are improving makes me very happy.”
Although the condition of most of the injured had stabilized, Liang Tian knew they still faced a tremendous threat. The Dark Organization could strike again at any moment, and they needed to come up with a comprehensive plan to deal with them while ensuring the injured recovered and their own strength increased.
As night fell, the valley was quiet and still. Liang Tian stood alone at the entrance of the valley, gazing up at the night sky, lost in thought. He understood that the road ahead was fraught with difficulties and dangers, but for the sake of those around him and for the peace of this world, he had no choice but to move forward courageously. He was determined to eradicate the Dark Organization completely and restore tranquility to everything…
