In the valley's tent, Liang Tian was intently studying the Evil Artifact, trying to uncover more ways to decipher its secrets. Just then, a scout responsible for reconnaissance rushed in, his face filled with anxiety.
"Mr. Liang, something terrible has happened!" The scout knelt on one knee, panting heavily.
Liang Tian's heart sank as he immediately set aside the Evil Artifact and asked, "What happened? Speak slowly."
The scout took a deep breath to steady his emotions and replied, "We have learned that the Dark Organization has not given up after their defeat. Their emissaries are running around, colluding with many greedy rogue cultivators and Evil Sects. They are using the power of the Evil Artifact and the temptation of dominating the Cultivation World to persuade these forces to join their alliance. Now, a massive Dark Alliance is gradually forming, posing a significant threat to us!"
Hearing this, Liang Tian's expression turned grave. He understood that the Dark Organization was undoubtedly trying to gather various evil forces to eliminate them in one fell swoop and reclaim the Evil Artifact.
"Are you sure the information is accurate?" Liang Tian confirmed again.
"Absolutely, Mr. Liang! I saw with my own eyes the Dark Organization contacting those rogue cultivators and members of the Evil Sect, and I heard them discussing the alliance," the scout answered firmly.
Liang Tian nodded and said, "Good work. You should rest now."
After the scout left, Liang Tian wasted no time and immediately summoned Xiao Zhan, Chen Xue, and the leaders and experts from various Hidden Sects for a discussion. Upon hearing this news, a heavy silence fell over the tent, the atmosphere so tense it felt like it could drip with water.
"I didn't expect the Dark Organization to be so cunning as to unite so many forces," Xiao Zhan said with a frown, his expression serious.
The Ling Xiao Sect Leader looked worried and slowly said, "One Dark Organization is already difficult enough to deal with; now they have allied with numerous rogue cultivators and Evil Sects, significantly increasing their strength. If we continue to passively defend ourselves, we may struggle to withstand their attacks."
Everyone nodded in agreement with the Ling Xiao Sect Leader's assessment.
After a moment of contemplation, Liang Tian looked at everyone with determination and said, “Everyone, we cannot sit idly by. Now that we know their plan, we must take the initiative and disrupt the Dark Alliance before they are fully prepared!”
“Take the initiative? Isn’t that a bit too risky?” a master from the Hidden Sect asked with concern.
Liang Tian smiled slightly and replied, “It may seem risky, but it is actually our best opportunity. The Dark Alliance has just been formed, and the various factions have yet to find their footing; there are bound to be contradictions and disagreements within. If we strike now, we can exploit their disunity, taking them down one by one and disrupting their plans. If we wait until they are fully prepared and united in their attack against us, we will find ourselves in a very passive position.”
Xiao Zhan slammed his hand on the table and exclaimed, “Brother Liang is right! Instead of waiting here to die, let’s take the initiative and fight it out!”
Chen Xue looked at Liang Tian with trust and support in her eyes and said, “I believe in Liang Tian’s judgment. Let’s take the initiative.”
Seeing Liang Tian’s confidence and considering the current situation, the leaders and masters of the Hidden Sect all expressed their agreement.
Thus, they began discussing specific action plans. Liang Tian analyzed the intelligence provided by scouts to determine the possible gathering points and routes of the Dark Alliance. He divided everyone into several small teams, each with clear tasks.
“Xiao Zhan, you lead a team of Jianghu Heroes to scout the movements of the Dark Alliance. As soon as you detect any signs of their actions, report back to us immediately,” Liang Tian instructed.
“Got it! Brother Liang, leave this little task to me!” Xiao Zhan assured with a pat on his chest.
“Elders from Lingxiao Sect and Wan Jian Sect, you will lead your disciples to ambush along the main routes that the Dark Alliance might take. When they appear, deliver a decisive blow. But remember, do not engage in prolonged battles; our main goal is to disrupt their rhythm,” Liang Tian continued with his arrangements.
The leaders of Lingxiao Sect and Wan Jian Sect responded in unison, “We will obey Mr. Liang’s orders!”
“Chen Xue, you and a few skilled healers will stay in the valley to take care of the injured while strengthening the valley’s defenses against any potential sneak attacks from the Dark Alliance,” Liang Tian advised Chen Xue earnestly.
Chen Xue nodded and said, "You can rest assured. I will take good care of things here. Just be careful yourself."
Once everything was arranged, everyone took their orders and set off. A proactive operation against the Dark Alliance was about to begin. Liang Tian understood that this battle was fraught with uncertainties and dangers, but in order to protect those around him and to thwart the dark forces' schemes, he had no choice but to move forward with courage…
