As soon as I reached the hospital entrance, I was slapped by Mi You. Caught off guard, I stumbled and fell.
"Ugh—"
My lip split open, and I gasped in pain.
Mi You's eyes were bloodshot, her expression fierce. "Luo Feng, how could you be so cruel!"
"I've already compromised for you. Why did you still report me?"

"Are you okay?" Lin Shuang appeared and helped me up.
I shook my head. "Thank you."
Lin Shuang glanced at Mi You. "The captain scolded her, and she's not in a good mood."
I frowned. "What do you mean?"
She sighed. "After she was called in by the captain this morning, her demeanor suddenly changed."

I understood now. Mom must have gone to the captain to complain about Mi You's negligence. That was why she was so upset.

My Mom trembled with rage. "What nonsense are you talking about?"
"Mom is on the brink of death! And you're here making sarcastic comments!"
Mi You shot him a glance. "What evidence do you have to prove she isn't faking? She's your mother, not My Mom."
Ji Zhaoyuan chimed in, "Exactly! Mi You was late because we were trying to save me."
"It wasn't intentional."
"And besides, who told you to break through the barriers?"
She let out a cold laugh. "Isn't this self-inflicted?"
Ji Zhaoyuan was extremely pleased. "Mi You, thank goodness we called the police! Otherwise, some people would turn the tables on us!"
Lin Shuang frowned. "Mr. Ji, please watch your words."
Ji Zhaoyuan scoffed. "Am I wrong?"
She sneered again. "I was supposed to get promoted today, but thanks to Luo Feng's commotion, that promotion is down the drain."
"Does she still want to turn the tables? No way!"
Mi You looked at me with a venomous gaze. "Luo Feng, if you want me to forgive you, restore my job!"
"And—"
She pointed at me. "Make her apologize to me!"
I took a deep breath. "Mi You, do you have no shame left?"
"You clearly deleted Ji Zhaoyuan's contact information, and now you're blaming me?"
"And—" I scoffed, "What did I say at the police station? You were the one who spread the rumor that I forced you!"
Ji Zhaoyuan screamed, "You're talking nonsense! You were the one who harassed me!"
Mi You frowned, "Shut up!"
Ji Zhaoyuan was taken aback.
Mi You gritted her teeth, "Fine, it's all my fault, okay?"
"But Luo Feng, you still have to pay the price."
She sneered, "Because you made me lose my chance for a promotion."
I closed my eyes and said, "Stop talking."
Ji Zhaoyuan was about to say something else when I interrupted, "Mi You, let's get a divorce."
I took the divorce agreement out of my bag.
