A dead cow, to him, was of no significance at all. However, he was curious about why Lu Fei wanted to bid on this Old Cow. Many people at the scene shared the same confusion, whispering among themselves as they watched Lu Fei.
Chen Xuan couldn't help but ask quietly, "Jin, did you notice anything unusual about this cow?"
Jin replied casually, "It's just an almost-dead Old Cow, nothing special about it. If I had to say there’s something unique, it would be that there's a large foreign object in its gallbladder."
A foreign object? Chen Xuan was taken aback. How could there be a foreign object inside a cow?
Suddenly, a light bulb went off in his head. He turned sharply to look at Lu Fei. Lu Fei stood there with a calm expression, but his tightly clenched hands betrayed him.
Sure enough! Chen Xuan's eyes lit up as he whispered with a chuckle, "As expected of Lu Expert; he noticed it too! But unfortunately, this cow is mine."
With that thought in mind, Chen Xuan raised his bidding paddle without hesitation and shouted, "One thousand!"
Another paddle was raised? The crowd below was stunned and looked up to see that it was Chen Xuan, who had just spent ten thousand on Eight Cattle. They couldn't help but laugh.
This tycoon was making another move! Eight Cattle for ten thousand—how much would he spend this time? He wants this cow too? This guy must be crazy!
The onlookers shook their heads and scoffed. But Lu Fei's expression changed; he gazed deeply at Chen Xuan and raised his paddle again. "Three thousand!"
Gasp! Lu Expert raised his paddle again!
What is happening?
A wave of confusion swept through the crowd. Chen Xuan remained composed, continuing to raise his bid: Five thousand!
A roar erupted from the audience as Chen Xuan jumped a thousand!
"One thousand!" Lu Fei said calmly.
"Eight thousand!"
"Nine thousand!"
"Ten thousand!"
"Ten thousand!"
Amidst the bewildered gazes of the crowd, Chen Xuan and Lu Fei frantically called out prices, which soared higher and higher, quickly surpassing ten thousand.
How could this be happening?
The onlookers gasped in disbelief; how could an old cow fetch such a high price? Was there some secret they were unaware of? Or was this old cow a rare breed?
With curious eyes, the crowd scrutinized the old cow, examining it closely from top to bottom. Yet, they couldn't find anything unusual. Even the Seller Boss began to question the origins of his cow upon hearing the escalating bids.
The bidding continued. Neither Chen Xuan nor Lu Fei showed any signs of backing down.
Some attempted to jump in with their own bids, but under Chen Xuan's frenzied pricing, they quickly retreated in defeat.
"Thirty thousand!" Lu Fei gritted his teeth and announced an astonishing figure.
A wave of excitement surged through the crowd!
The crowd was in an uproar; this was already the highest bid of the auction, far exceeding expectations!
Thirty thousand for an Old Cow? That price was simply outrageous!
All the buyers were left speechless, no one dared to speak or negotiate, and they all stared blankly at Lu Fei.
Then their gazes shifted to Chen Xuan. Would he continue bidding?
Chen Xuan smiled faintly, feeling increasingly confident. He slowly raised his paddle and called out an astonishing figure: fifty thousand!
Gasp!
The entire room of buyers collectively inhaled sharply. Fifty thousand for an Old Cow? They were all stunned by this jaw-dropping price!
Would Lu Expert continue to bid?
Once again, everyone's attention turned to Lu Fei.
