He held a few Silver Eggs in his hands, gazing eagerly at Chen Xuan, contemplating how to mend their relationship. However, Chen Xuan mistakenly thought Wang Xiong wanted to eat the eggs. He pursed his lips, and the Watermelon Demon got up to boil some water. Soon, a pot of water was bubbling away.
Wang Xiong felt a spark of inspiration and decided to go along with the misunderstanding, dropping the eggs he held into the pot.
Fifteen minutes later, Wang Xiong tasted the Silver Egg for the first time.
As he bit into the egg white, his pupils suddenly constricted, filled with shock. He had underestimated Xiao Chen!
After a moment of silence, Wang Xiong quietly finished eating the egg and said hoarsely, "Xiao Chen, are you selling these eggs through someone?"
"Yes," Chen Xuan nodded. "A fellow villager is helping with sales."
Wang Xiong's eyes flickered as he nervously asked, "Xiao Chen, what’s the production rate for these eggs? Do you have any stock left for me to sell?" He looked at Chen Xuan expectantly.
Chen Xuan frowned slightly at his words. This made Wang Xiong, who had been observing him closely, tense up. He blurted out, "Does that mean there aren’t any left?"
Chen Xuan nodded but then shook his head.
What does that mean? Wang Xiong was confused.
Chen Xuan then stood up and rummaged through a corner for a moment before tossing something in front of Wang Xiong.
Wang Xiong was taken aback as he picked it up to find it was a bundle of labels. The labels clearly printed four small characters: Qing Xuan Farm.
Wang Xiong's heart raced as he looked at Chen Xuan in surprise. "Xiao Chen, are you planning to create a brand?"
"Yes," came the reply.
Chen Xuan nodded and smiled faintly. "The eggs have been selling well these past few days, which made me realize the competitiveness of our Farm products. Therefore, I plan to brand our Farm."
Wang Xiong's eyes lit up, and he gave Chen Xuan a thumbs-up. "Xiao Chen, I support you."
"Thank you, Wang. Branding isn't that simple, so I hope to collaborate with you."
Wang Xiong pondered Chen Xuan's thoughts for a moment and quickly understood. He laughed and said, "So, you want to leverage my chain of fruit stores to kickstart the brand, right?"
"Exactly!" Chen Xuan nodded honestly and smiled. "This is my initial idea. I hope you won't look down on my small scale."
"Not at all."
Wang Xiong looked deeply at Chen Xuan. From the watermelons to today's eggs, and now the branding concept, Wang Xiong had completely changed his perception of Chen Xuan.
"You're truly impressive for a graduate of Tsinghua University," he remarked sincerely.
With that, things became much easier. The Chicken Coop produced about three thousand eggs daily, and Chen Xuan decided to supply two thousand of them to Wang Xiong for sale in his fruit stores. The remaining one thousand would be given to Chen Dayong for continued sales.
Though it seemed like Chen Dayong was at a disadvantage, in the near future, Chen Xuan planned to establish several Chicken Coops to expand egg production. By then, aside from Wang Xiong, he would become the second distributor of the eggs, which was significant.
The negotiations proceeded swiftly, and Wang Xiong smiled with satisfaction. He stood up, eager to start arranging for Silver Egg to be stocked in his stores.
Before leaving, Wang Xiong paused and looked at Chen Xuan with anticipation.
Chen Xuan asked in confusion, "Wang, is there anything else?"
Wang Xiong chuckled and said, "Xiao Chen, could you give me another chicken leg? This roasted chicken is too good! I've never had such delicious roasted chicken in my life!"
"Wang, you still haven't given up, have you?"
Chen Xuan let out a cold laugh at the words and suddenly spat lightly.
