Xu Li ultimately followed Natasha's advice and handed the keys of the old house to Xu Haigui. He forced a smile, nodded at Xu Haigui and Li Yanhong, then picked up his luggage and got into the car. Natasha and Anna waved goodbye to the couple as the taxi slowly drove away. Xu Haigui tightened his grip on the keys and got into his own car, and the two made their way to the old house. 0

As soon as they opened the door, a faint scent of milk lingered in the air. The walls of the living room were adorned with photos from the children's full moon celebrations, along with later snapshots. A large traditional wedding portrait hung above the sofa. Xu Li, dressed in formal attire, sat casually in a chair with one leg crossed over the other. Anna and Eva, who had just completed their confinement period, stood on either side of him in bright red embroidered dresses, holding a round fan decorated with dragons and phoenixes in front of their bellies, smiling happily at the camera. 0

What caught the most attention was Xu Li's face, which had been meticulously retouched by the photographer. His sun-kissed, handsome features bore a resemblance to Xu Haigui in his youth but were more reminiscent of his mother. 0

The flight was not heading to Irkutsk but rather to Harbin for a stopover. While there, they took the opportunity to buy fur coats for the sisters and arranged two sets for Father-in-law Zhang Ji Niang. The three sisters-in-law also received a set each, as they had always treated him and Anna with genuine kindness. 0

He reciprocated their kindness sincerely, arranging gifts for everyone he could think of. After finishing their shopping at the mall, they headed to a restaurant for a meal—the happiest moment for the sisters. 0

"Come here for a hug from Dad," he said cheerfully as he picked up Xu Weihua and Xu Weixia, allowing the sisters to eat without holding them. Natasha ate quickly; she wanted to finish her meal early so her son-in-law could eat too. He wondered how the sisters maintained their figures despite eating so much meat; it seemed all their weight had gone where it should have, with their waists only slightly fuller due to having children. 0

After finishing their meal, Eva looked around eagerly. Xu Li curiously asked, "What are you looking for, Eva?" 0

"Watermelon! Aren't we supposed to have watermelon after dinner?" 0

"Uh..." 0

Xu Li smacked his lips and waved over a waiter: "Excuse me, do you have any fruit platters?" 0

"Yes, we do." 0

The waiter glanced at their table before quickly heading to the kitchen and returning with dark Li Pears and some fruits, including watermelon. Eva happily dug into her watermelon and sweetly smiled at the waiter: "Thank you!" 0

"You're welcome." 0

Once she had her longed-for watermelon, Eva stopped looking around. Anna poked at a soft frozen pear: "Is this good?" 0

"It should be tasty; I haven't tried it yet. Let me have a taste." 0

He took a bite of the frozen pear and then sucked in hard: "Mmm, it's good." 0

Seeing Xu Li enjoy it so much encouraged Anna to try it too. Natasha watched them with joy while holding her child; she couldn't help but thank God for bringing such a wonderful young man into her life. 0

The next morning, they boarded their flight to Irkutsk. The flight attendant glanced at the two children and frowned slightly; long flights were not very friendly to kids, especially such young ones. So throughout the journey, she would occasionally check in on this family. 0
