"I will always be with you!"
As the Emperor on the television finished his New Year's speech, the somewhat crowded living room erupted with cheers from young and old alike, holding their glasses of wine or drinks.
"Let's eat now that the dishes are ready."

Vasily's words left Xu Li in silence for a long time. Andrei and Ivan continued drinking; these matters needed to be decided by Xu Li himself. They could only offer help as much as possible. Now that Xu Li had a child, he could no longer be treated like a boy.
Xu Li instinctively reached for a cigarette, turning to look at the child cradled by Anna and Eva before putting it back. "Starting a cattle operation requires considerable initial investment, right? Xu Li had never inquired about this; he had only worked there for over two months. Last year, all the sheep were sold off, and this year only one cow was sold from the ranch. The money had already been distributed among every household in the village, so he truly didn’t know.
Andrei raised a finger: "One Hundred Thousand Rubles per head, and our cattle have regular buyers who come every year to collect them. They handle shipping costs themselves; all we provide is labor—there aren’t many other expenses."
"That's not insignificant."
Xu Li calculated it in his mind; dividing such an amount among each household would yield quite a bit—One Hundred Thousand Rubles each. He imagined how those elders could provide more support for their grandchildren in the city.
Vasily wiped his mouth again: "My suggestion is to start with three breeding cows—buy mature cows that have given birth before and pair them with some calves, totaling around that number."
He began counting on his fingers for Xu Li: "You should hire an experienced Veterinarian; let's skip those half-baked ones like our dad. We can hold off on hiring armed guards for now; those elders in Our Village can help keep an eye on them."
"You’ll definitely need to buy grass seeds and tilling equipment next, then hire someone to build a Cattle Shed for those newborn calves to survive. You’ll also need to cut down trees to build Low Fences and dig cellars for storage—estimating around eight hundred One Hundred Thousand Rubles should cover it all. The breeding cows and equipment will take up most of that budget; they’re essential expenses."
At this point, he looked at Xu Li meaningfully: "Do you have that much capital? If you’re considering taking out a loan, you can call Old Five; he can help you secure more funding."
