"Do you like him?" 0

The little girl shyly lowered her head and remained silent. Dasha didn't press further; instead, she gently tapped the girl on the head before heading to the kitchen to share the conversation with her sister. 0

Natasha was more open about it. "There's nothing wrong with liking each other since childhood. Don't forget, I confirmed my relationship with your brother-in-law when we were young, and look where we are now." 0

She plated some Fried Chicken Legs. "Having a stable family is a good thing. At least you won't end up like me and your brother-in-law, still unable to afford a house." 0

"But you and Andrei only confirmed your relationship after coming of age," Dasha pointed out, still feeling uneasy. "Boys can be fickle; this could hurt Lisa." 0

Who can truly predict matters of the heart? Natasha smiled as she carried the platter into the living room. Uncle Andong called them out for dinner. 0

Uncle Andong tossed his phone onto the sofa and got up to call the girls from their rooms. Peter also put away his phone and helped Natasha carry out the plates, earning himself some favor from future Sister Zhang. 0

Just then, Andrei returned with two large bags of snacks and drinks. Anan set up her phone and helped Andrei pour the drinks. 0

During dinner, Andrei kept staring at Peter, making him feel quite embarrassed. Natasha gently nudged him with her knee, prompting Andrei to put down his drink. "Peter, does your dad run a ranch? Do you live in a village near Bratsk?" 0

Peter nodded curiously. "Yeah, how do you know, uncle?" 0

"Is your dad named Makarov?" 0

"Yes!" 0

"Is your mom Anna or Eva?" 0

Peter looked confused. "My mom is Eva! How did you know that?" 0

"Haha! I knew it! You look just like your dad." 0

Seeing that everyone was looking at him, Andrei grinned and said, "A few years ago, my company took on a job, and I went to Bratsk with some others for over two months." 0

Natasha chuckled. "Wasn't that when you first earned a Red Envelope?" 0

"Yeah," Andrei replied, surprisingly getting up to serve Peter a chicken leg. "I know a bit about his family situation. Makarov is a brave man; he single-handedly took down a nearly five-kilogram brown bear with an old chainsaw." 0

With a loud thud, the chicken wing that Anan was eating fell onto the plate, his eyes nearly popping out in disbelief. Natasha and the others shared a look of astonishment, while Andrei shrugged and smirked, "That's just how it is. I heard he fought a brown bear in the woods all by himself to protect his wife and almost died in the process." 0

Peter beamed with pride, declaring, "You are really good-looking, unlike my dad and brother; their faces are all hairy and ugly. He is the best father and husband in the world! I want to be just like him when I grow up— a real man!" 0

Natasha couldn't help but chuckle at his little antics. Uncle Andong took a sip of his drink and said, "Peter, you can't even fight; stop bragging." 0

Peter looked quite pleased with himself. "I've been training with Uncle Andreev since I was little! He’s a veteran who has fought in battles. I can even drive a tank! We have tanks and armored vehicles at home, and I can ride a brown bear around for fun!" 0
