Poyev turned his horse towards the nearby Cattle Shed, instructing a man to fetch a few useless calves and lambs, along with some potatoes and apples, to ensure they were well-fed before hibernating, instead of wandering around all day. 0

A man redirected his horse and headed towards the shed. Xu Li and the others lit cigarettes, watching the brown bear. Xiong Da huffed and puffed as he faced off against Chi Bear across the Low Fence. After a while, Xiong Da let out a low growl, which surprisingly quieted the brown bear. It sat down in the snow, curiously peering through the gaps at the humans and Xiong Da. 0

Soon, Poyev arrived with a small cart loaded with hay. Andreev and the others tossed some weak lambs over the Low Fence. The brown bear eagerly devoured them. Two men from the cart then worked together to throw a frozen calf over the fence before jumping down from the cart. After eating its fill, the bear grabbed the calf and trotted back into the forest, quickly disappearing from sight. 0

The others continued their patrol while Xu Li tied up his horse in the stable and returned home, just as Anna emerged with steaming bowls of Borscht: "Wash your hands and come eat." 0

At the dinner table, the three of them quietly enjoyed their meal. Eva, while eating, playfully kicked her feet against Xu Li's calf. When he glanced at her, she raised an eyebrow and playfully bit her chopsticks. 0

"Go get frisky in the bedroom; don't gross us out here," Anna shot her a disapproving look before turning to Xu Li, who was trying to suppress a laugh: "You shouldn't be laughing either; there's a parent-teacher meeting this week. Peter has been misbehaving at school; just wait for the teacher's reprimand." 0

"That can't be right; Peter never causes trouble. You’re not trying to make me think my child is at fault, are you?" 0

Upon hearing that it involved her son, Eva glared at her sister. Anna rolled her eyes in frustration: "Youya Sister called me this afternoon and said Peter hasn't been focusing on his studies lately. He's been playing mobile games all day and even got into fights with kids from another class. You can ask him yourself if you don't believe me." 0

"Oh? My Old Son is getting into fights now?" Xu Li chuckled. 0

"Eat your dinner; I’ll go check on him at school in a couple of days," he added. 0

After dinner, the sisters went to the study to read while Xu Li opened his computer to edit today’s footage into two segments, adding voiceovers for some key points that included local knowledge. 0

"Misha, will you tell me a story?" Eva asked as she appeared behind him, leaning against his back. 0

Xu Li uploaded the video and shut down his computer, pulling Eva into his arms. They sat quietly together for a while until he inhaled her hair: "What story do you want to hear?" 0

"What if Viking pirates had conquered all of Europe? Would Western countries be unified like Huaxia is now?" 0

Xu Li was taken aback by her question: "I’m not a historian; aren’t you putting me on the spot?" 0

Eva wrapped her arms around his neck and began to act coyly. Anna approached them and playfully swatted Eva's backside: "You're too old for this kind of behavior; it’s embarrassing. Move over a bit." 0

As she settled onto her husband's lap with her head resting on his chest, Eva pouted in dissatisfaction: "As if you're so normal yourself! Who is it that practically hangs off him all day? You have no right to criticize me." 0
