"Dad, I can't take it anymore! Please stop!" 0

With a series of loud slaps, Xu Li had Peter pinned over his knee, pulling down his jeans for a good spanking. Eva watched with concern but dared not plead for her younger son. After all, Little Guy had gone too far; he had been caught playing games during class more than once. 0

Ever since Xu Li had kicked down the door to the parent-teacher meeting, Ivan had taken Peter and Zhuo Ya to visit the principal, presenting the carefully prepared gifts from Xu Li. The teachers were reluctant to be too harsh on him, which only encouraged Peter's misbehavior. Now he was failing all his classes—was there any other choice but to discipline him? 0

Peter flinched at the sound of his father's voice, shrinking back and covering his bottom in silence. Xu Li poked him in the chest with a thick finger. "Your homeroom teacher next term is Safna. If you dare to ignore your sister's advice, I’ll drive over and skin you alive." 0

"I understand, Dad," Little Guy mumbled, staring at the ground. Xu Li scrutinized him for a long moment before turning back to the living room. Zhuo Ya, sipping on her Wahaha drink while leaning against the doorframe of the balcony, giggled happily. "Seeing you get spanked makes me so happy! You keep it up!" 0

"Hmph." 0

Peter shot her an annoyed glance and limped over to Eva, wrapping his arms around her waist as he began to sob. Zhuo Ya rolled her big eyes and playfully slapped his bottom as she passed by, causing Little Guy to yelp in pain. All his grievances erupted at once, and he cried uncontrollably. 0

"Ivan, have you heard any news?" Xu Li asked during dinner. Ivan paused mid-drink, surprised. "What’s up?" 0

Xu Li set down his fork and wiped his mouth with a napkin. "That Ivan who collects cattle and sheep has bought everything available from my ranch without notifying me in advance—even over thirty horses! He paid about ten percent more than market price. I suspect he’s stockpiling for canned goods or something." 0

"Don't overthink it," Ivan chuckled lightly. "Your free-range cattle are expensive; they’re not worth it for military supplies. There are specialized breeding institutions above us, and with so many meat processing plants in our country, military canned goods are already saturated. It’s likely your cattle are of better quality now; they probably plan to sell them abroad, hence the higher price." 0

Old Andrei pondered for a moment before saying, "If war were imminent, Boyka would definitely notify us to stockpile supplies or something. Since he hasn’t called, there’s no conflict on our end. Don’t worry too much; making more money is never a bad thing." 0

"Heh heh! By the end of the year, I’ll bring you some premium beef that you’ll definitely love!" Xu Li grinned widely. "In November, I arranged through connections in Northeast Huaxia to order fifty head of Wagyu cattle and three Angus from Australia—thirty black-red cattle and the rest are heifers." 0

"How much did all those cattle cost you?" Nephew asked curiously, while everyone else perked up their ears. 0

Xu Li smiled broadly and spread out one hand with fingers wide apart. "This much in U.S. dollars!" 0

"Fifty?" 0

Xu Li rolled his eyes at Nephew's ignorance. "You think it’s just fifty? It’s five hundred thousand U.S. dollars! The breeding cattle have already passed inspection here; I’ve been tidying up Cattle Shed No. 1 this whole time just waiting for these big guys to move in." 0

The table fell silent except for a few Little Ones who continued their chatter. 0
