The two little ones plopped down on the floor, munching on apples and potatoes while sipping water. Occasionally, they would open their mouths to receive some honey candy. After finishing the food in their paws, the two large hamsters carefully cradled a big bowl of milk mixed with honey, gulping it down with satisfied smacks.
Xu Li lit a cigarette and occasionally rubbed their big heads. In the country, if one wanted to get close to such fierce beasts, there was only one way: to risk it all and throw oneself into their jaws before they could bite, taking advantage of the moment to pet them.

The bear let out a milky burp and set aside the empty bowl before continuing to eat.
Xu Weihua and Xu Weixia, filled with confidence, were sitting in a café, humbly accepting guidance from a middle-aged woman across the table. Alexander and Yelena sat beside them with Angelina. After finishing her advice, the woman offered her opinion: “You both have great looks and voices, but your foundation is practically nonexistent.”
“I’ve listened to these songs carefully, and there’s no technique or emotion in them. The main issue is that you’re too young; your voices haven’t fully developed yet. I suggest you register the copyrights for your songs and spend a few years seriously working on your fundamentals before re-recording and releasing them.”
After saying this, she glanced at Alexander intentionally and quickly put on a grateful expression, shaking hands with the woman. “Natasha, if it weren’t for your honest advice, these two kids might have faced serious hardships. Could you help them find a vocal teacher to refine their skills?”
Natasha smiled. “We can first sign a five-year contract with our company. During this period, we will do our best to nurture them. However, the profit share from their song releases will be slightly higher to cover our training costs. After five years, we can renegotiate the contract. What do you think?”
“That depends on them,” she replied, giving Xu Weixia a gentle kick under the table. “Nikola, do you want to discuss this with Makarov?”
Xu Weixia shook her head. “Dad told us before we came that our foundation is too weak. These songs are barely listenable; we’ll figure it out ourselves.”
Beside her, Xu Weihua nodded and looked at Natasha. “Aunt Natasha, we want to sign.”
“Alright then, since it’s still early, I’ll take you to the company to have a look and sign the contract.”
With that, she stood up, grabbed her small bag, and led the two siblings outside. Angelina made a phone gesture towards Xu Weixia as she watched the three leave the café and get into a wine-red Dolphin Car that drove off.
“Dad, you’re really…”
Angelina hugged Alexander's arm, resting her little head on his shoulder. Alexander smiled affectionately. “From now on, this company will be part of your dowry. If that kid dares to mistreat you, I’ll skin him alive! Your grandfather will make him understand how terrifying it is to bully his granddaughter! Hahaha!”
“Dad! Uncle! Auntie are so good to me.”
Angelina didn’t want there to be such a day when her boyfriend’s parents would suffer misfortune because of her. Alexander nodded reassuringly. “Don’t worry; Dad isn’t unreasonable.”
Yelena pinched her daughter’s cheek playfully. “You’ve clearly gained some weight in just over ten days!”
“Mom!” The little girl shook her body in protest, expressing her dissatisfaction.
