After he finished singing the opening lines, Xu Weihua took Kamila's hands, holding them tightly in his warm grasp. Noticing her slight shyness, he couldn't help but smile and began to sing again:
"Cover me with the blanket, hold me tight
In the warm space shared by us two."
Before the song could finish, Angelina was swept into Xu Weixia's bedroom. The living room was filled only with the bittersweet accompaniment and Xu Weihua's heartfelt singing. Eventually, the two embraced tightly together.
Faint sounds drifted from the bedroom, causing the two little sheep in the living room to blush deeply. Xu Weihua glanced at the time and said, "Let me walk you back; it's getting late, and you have training tomorrow."
"Okay."
The young girl allowed her boyfriend to put on her little pink hat and scarf before they held hands and left the apartment. The chilly spring street had few pedestrians. The tall and short figures snuggled together on the sidewalk when Xu Weihua suddenly stopped and led Kamila into a store, buying her a pair of gloves. "It's still quite cold; don't catch a chill. Let me put these on for you."
"Thank you."
Kamila felt incredibly happy. She believed her initial decision was correct; had she not confessed to the boy in front of her, another girl might have been receiving this care instead.
After dropping Kamila off at her dormitory building, he gently rubbed her cute round face and kissed her forehead. "Go back now; when you have your next break, I'll come to pick you up."
"Be careful on your way."
Kamila nodded but then stood on her tiptoes and gave him a quick kiss before shyly running into the dormitory. Xu Weihua smiled and was about to leave when he was stopped by a woman coming out of the building. "Young man, wait a moment."
"Aitri Coach, hello," he greeted politely with a nod.
Etrie looked him up and down, scratching his forehead. "Haven't I seen you somewhere before?"
"Yes, Coach. We met when I was bringing Anna back."
Etrie's brows furrowed at that. "I didn't expect it; you took Anna out?"
"I've been on good terms with Anna for a while now; her family is against us being together."
Xu Weihua forced a bitter smile before assuring Etrie, "Don't worry, Coach; I won't disturb her during training. When she has time off, I'll take her to an amusement park or to see a movie. I won't take her out for food; I'll prepare nutritious meals for her myself."
Etrie smiled in satisfaction. "You can cook nutritious meals at such a young age?"
The young man scratched the back of his head in a simple-minded manner. With his handsome features and scholarly demeanor, it was no wonder that he easily attracted the attention of the opposite sex. It was hardly surprising that he had just broken up with Anna and immediately sought out Kamila. She nodded at him and said, "It's getting late; you should head back."
"Alright, Aitri Coach, goodbye."
