"Don't say anything, Makarov. This corn is just too good to stop eating."
In the cafeteria, Andreev was munching on the Fruit Corn, while Xu Li was about to speak when her phone rang. Seeing it was Brother Ivan calling, she raised an eyebrow. "What's up, big brother?"
"Zhuo Ya has been accused by some international students from Huaxia. You'd better come over."
Xu Li froze for a moment. "My daughter didn't suffer any losses, did she?"
"Not exactly, but those two international students ended up in the hospital because of her."
"As long as my daughter is fine, I'm on my way." She hung up the phone and sighed. "That girl never gives me a moment's peace."
Andreev, who had overheard the conversation with Ivan, chuckled. "You think being a dad is easy?"
"Keep an eye on things at the ranch while I'm gone."
Andreev waved his hand and continued to gnaw on the corn. Xu Li went home to quickly pack a couple of changes of clothes and told her sisters that she was heading to Irkutsk to buy some things before driving off. Anna glanced at her tiles, scratched her chin, and tossed out a tile: "Wealth!"
"Bang!"
Eva beamed as she picked up the tile and arranged it in front of her. Then she touched a nine and cheerfully pushed her tiles forward. "Self-draw! All honors! Pay up!"
"Sister Anna," Daria pouted at Anna. "I’ve hardly won against you when you’re sitting across from me."
Anna waved her hand dismissively. "Didn’t you just win that last round? Keep going!"
In the study, the sound of mahjong tiles clattering began as Xiong Da slowly made his way to Anna's side, resting his big head on her lap and yawning. Anna patted Xiong Da's head. "Wait until Mommy finishes this round, then I'll make you something to eat."
Xiong Da grunted in response and lay there by her feet, waiting for dinner.

When Xu Li pushed open the door to the director's office, Zhuo Ya was sprawled on the sofa playing games, surrounded by orange peels and nut shells on the coffee table. Ivan rolled his eyes at his brother-in-law. "Hurry up and deal with this situation; get this little troublemaker out of here! If she doesn't leave soon, I won't have any place left!"
Zhuo Ya stuck out her tongue at her uncle and got up with a pitiful look towards her father. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pouted, saying, "Those two jerks took pictures of me and said such horrible things about me."
She leaned closer to Xu Li and whispered the rest of what they said. The more she spoke, the darker Xu Li's expression became. Finally, she set Zhuo Ya down and turned to Ivan. "Which hospital are those little brats in?"
"What are you planning to do?"
Ivan sensed that something was off. His brother-in-law's expression clearly indicated that he was genuinely angry. He hurriedly stepped forward and said, "Makarov, I only have a few years until retirement. Can you not make this difficult for me?"
"Don't worry, big brother. I know how to handle it," Makarov replied, taking his daughter by the hand and leaving the office. Ivan, fearing that Makarov might seriously harm someone, quickly called over seven or eight police officers, worried that he wouldn't be able to rein in this raging bear.
