"You're the one who's not serious at all," Valery scoffed. "All you do is listen to us chat. You're the one who's really not serious." 0

"You'd be better off putting your jealousy towards the village chief to good use and working hard yourself. Your wife is only fifty; with some effort, she might even give you another child," someone joked. 0

"Hahaha! The fighting spirit of a woman is far stronger than Valery's. We chased him out of the cafeteria with our banter, and he had to go find someone else to spread gossip while puffing on a cigarette." 0

"Dear, just have another sip of fish soup. Just one more sip," Xu Li urged, following Eva around with a small bowl, coaxing her like a child to get some nutrition into the elderly mother. Eva pouted and finished the soup in a few gulps. "I don't like fish soup; it tastes too fishy!" 0

"You're not the same as before. Drinking more now is like your child drinking too," Xu Li said, pulling out a small packet of wet wipes from her pocket and handing one to Eva to wipe her mouth. "Go play cards; I'll make you something delicious for dinner." 0

"I want strawberries!" Eva exclaimed. 0

"Alright, alright, I'll go pick some for you." 0

Once Eva went into the study, Xu Li headed to wash the dishes. She grabbed a small basket and went to the greenhouse in the backyard. After numerous iterations, their greenhouse was filled with various fruits and vegetables that never ran out throughout the seasons. Just as she returned with a basket full of strawberries, Yegor was dismounting at the gate. 0

"The village chief Alexei and his team discovered a group of moose while patrolling with drones. They aren't from our ranch," Yegor said. 0

He offered a cigarette to the village chief but was waved off. Instead, he handed over some washed strawberries to Yegor, who held them in his hands. "Should we catch them?" 0

"How many are there?" Xu Li asked as she popped a strawberry into her mouth and thought back. "Alexei didn't mention a specific number, but that group of moose definitely entered our forest area. Our forest ecosystem hasn't been restored yet, and those big guys eat a lot. Over time, the money you've spent could go down the drain." 0

"The top priority now is to harvest corn and Qing Chu. Once they're done, let's have Alexei and Andreev lead a team to catch those moose. If we can't catch them, we can kill them and share the meat." 0

"Sounds good!" 0

Yegor rode back to the ranch holding the strawberries and found his wife sitting in the office watching TV. He grinned as he handed her the strawberries. "Hey dear, eat these quickly!" 0

"Were you at the Village Chief's House?" Yisha asked as she bit into a delicious strawberry that was sweet and tangy with a satisfying size. 0

Seeing his wife enjoy them made him happy too. "I went to see the village chief about something. He was washing strawberries at that moment and gave me a few. If you like them, I can ask him for more later. Tomorrow we're also setting up an intelligent greenhouse in our backyard." 0

"Why spend that money?" 0

Yisha offered him a strawberry, but he shook his head. "You eat." 0

She smiled, took a bite of a strawberry, then kissed him on the lips, passing some of it into his mouth before finishing off the rest herself. "Anna and I are pretty close with Eva; if I want strawberries in the future, I'll just go over to their place to get some." 0
