"Can you fight? Or can your brother-in-law fight better?" 0

Andreev rolled his eyes. "I'm almost pushing fifty. Do you really think I'm still as young as I used to be?" 0

"Dad, I truly love Liliya, but I care more about my own life. Liliya's love is too heavy for me to bear. I can't handle that family anymore. Just to let you know, I'm seriously considering divorcing Liliya." 0

Suddenly, a kick landed on the sobbing Andrei, sending him sprawling to the ground. A fit woman in a tank top and short shorts pushed through the crowd of onlookers and kicked her husband down again. She was about to continue her assault when Andreev and a few others pulled her away. 0

"Andrei, how dare you go tell my dad? Do you believe I won't shoot you right here?" 0

Liliya pointed at the crying Andrei on the ground, pushed aside by several big men. "What have I done wrong to you? Huh? If you weren't with those bitches, would I even be angry? Have you thought about how your brothers would fare without me?" 0

"You think I'm too old now and want to find some young girl under your command, don't you?" she yelled. "I’ll kill you if you don’t let go!" 0

With a loud slap, Andreev struck her across the face. "Are you done making a scene?" 0

The sudden blow stunned the group of young men and the weeping Andrei. Zhukov quickly wrapped his arms around his sister's sturdy waist. "Sister, calm down." 0

"Look at yourself! You know hitting Andrei is wrong; he's a man! It's one thing to fight at home, but in front of so many people?" 0

Old Russian's chest heaved with anger. He had previously mocked Kolechkin for having a daughter with a worse temper than his own, but now he realized he was just as foolish. He looked at the furious Liliya and then at Andrei, who was sitting on the ground wiping his tears. 0

After a long silence, Old Russian sighed. "You two should get divorced. At this rate, I'm afraid Andrei might die at your hands. I worry about my three grandchildren not having a father or mother; divorce would be better for everyone." 0

"Dad, what are you saying?" 0

Liliya panicked and grabbed her father's shoulders, shaking him. "How can you side with Andrei? I'm your daughter!" 0

"Am I helping him? No, I'm helping you," Old Russian replied. 0

Andreev pointed at Andrei's bare torso. "Look what you've done to him! If you hit him again, he might not survive. He's just a good kid who talked to a few other women; why do you have to be so brutal?" 0
