"Everything I said is true."
Alexander cried out in agony, pleading for mercy. His fingers were pried open, and Xu Li relentlessly twisted them with his heavy boot. "There’s one thing I can’t understand," he said, releasing Alexander's swollen fingers and crouching down to coldly stare at him. "How could Ksenia care for you more than her own daughter Irina, yet you still had the heart to sell her into suffering?"
"I didn’t want to, I really didn’t want to," Alexander whimpered, cradling his hands against his chest, trembling uncontrollably. "I feel terrible, like there are countless insects burrowing into my bones. We’re out of money at home; I’ve even mortgaged the house. Besides my aunt, I have nothing left to exchange for cash."
"I never intended to do this. The seller said the hospital was in urgent need of plasma and bone marrow. As long as the blood type is healthy and rare, it could fetch a good price. I couldn’t resist the temptation, so I slipped sleeping pills into my aunt’s water cup and took some blood for testing."
"The buyer promised that as long as they got my aunt's blood and bone marrow, they would release her in three years and give her some money. During this time, I wouldn’t have to pay anything; I just needed to help them work seriously, and they wouldn’t ask me for money afterward. They even provided me with living expenses every month."
"Then tell me," Xu Li said coldly, staring at Alexander. "What’s your boss’s name, and where does he live?"
"Sergei Zakhariev, he lives in a villa area west of Irkutsk. He bought three consecutive villas; the middle one is where his family lives. The two on the left are occupied above while the lower parts are hollowed out to imprison people inside."
Alexander trembled as he looked at Xu Li, noticing his icy gaze fixed on him. He swallowed hard. "Could you give me a cigarette?"
After a moment of silence, Xu Li pulled out a cigarette and lit it for him. Alexander took two deep puffs before slowly rising to sit on the ground. "The middle villa is where his family lives, but usually his children stay at school; they live there."
"Under that villa, there’s a complete operating room specifically for on-site transplants for buyers. I heard from others that he once helped a Deputy Director by transplanting a healthy liver and promised him more in return, which is how he managed to avoid detection."
"Is that the only place?"
Alexander shook his head. "It definitely isn’t just this one. All three villas are holding high-end goods—various beautiful and healthy little girls and boys—while others used as blood bags are kept in different locations, but I don’t know where."
As he spoke, he glanced around at the masked figures in standard special forces gear surrounding them, realizing that those above intended to clean up their group. He decided to spill everything he knew: "He also has a cousin named Makarov. The things I encountered were all circulated from him."
"Makarov has so much?"
Xu Li rolled his eyes in frustration and slowly stood up. "Catch that bastard; I want to pull out his teeth one by one and smash his bones piece by piece—what kind of class does he think he belongs to with a name like mine?"
Alexei and the others struggled to suppress their laughter, their shoulders shaking with amusement as Alexander looked pleadingly at Xu Li. "Sir, please just arrest me; given my crimes, I can strive for reform and be out in five years at most."
"Is that so?"
