Just as the Wolf King was about to sink its teeth into my throat, I suddenly heard a whooshing sound of arrows slicing through the air.
The soldiers had released their arrows, and in an instant, the tips ignited, illuminating the entire valley.
The Wolf King was startled by this sudden attack and took a few steps back.

"Drive it into the trap and burn it alive!"
Upon hearing this, the villagers and soldiers quickly surrounded it, pushing it toward the direction of the trap.
Seeing itself cornered, the Wolf King suddenly leaped towards the crowd.
Several villagers were caught off guard and knocked to the ground by the Wolf King’s charge, their screams echoing through the valley.
Witnessing this scene tore at my heart. Gritting my teeth, I picked up a torch from the ground and hurled it toward the Wolf King.
When the Wolf King saw the flame flying toward it, it paused for a moment before instinctively retreating a few steps.
That retreat proved disastrous; it stumbled and fell right into the trap.
The medicinal powder inside erupted into a cloud, and the sharp spikes set in the trap pierced its hind legs, blood spraying out.
True to its reputation as the Wolf King, despite sustaining such severe injuries, it refused to give up and desperately clawed at the edges of the pit in an attempt to climb out.
But under the effects of those wounds and the medicinal powder, it had already lost most of its strength.
Seeing this, I bent down and picked up a metal chain, quickly binding its front paw with both hands.
The Wolf King was startled by my action, but with its front paw already tied, it had no way to escape.
Seizing the opportunity, I used all my strength to pin the Wolf King's paw firmly beneath its body with one hand, while the other hand wrapped the other end of the chain around its neck.
The Wolf King struggled desperately, but it was already ensnared by the chain and could not move.
I gritted my teeth, holding onto the chain tightly, and shouted, "Come help me!"
Hearing my call, several villagers rushed over to assist me in tightening the chain around the Wolf King's neck.
The Wolf King struggled more fiercely, but it had already exhausted its strength.
I looked into its eyes, which were gradually losing their luster, and knew it was finished.
Finally, the Wolf King ceased its struggles, and silence fell over the valley.
The villagers gathered around, their faces reflecting a joy of having survived a calamity.

Seeing the villagers' joy filled my heart with happiness.
