"Is that true?" Li Xiyun exclaimed in shock.
"Would I lie to you? I also have something to tell you. Soon, Master Jia will become a patron of our Liu Family. I can take you to meet Master Jia later," Liu Jiyue said.
"Oh." Li Xiyun showed little interest in meeting Master Jia.
"Xiyun, Master Jia is low-key and possesses extraordinary abilities. He keeps a low profile, unlike some people who think they are skilled and can act arrogantly. From what I know, no matter how powerful martial arts are, they cannot compare to supernatural abilities. So, I advise some people to be more humble and not get too carried away; otherwise, they might end up bringing trouble upon themselves," Liu Jiyue said with a sarcastic tone, deliberately directing his words at Jiang Chen.
"Are you talking about me?" Jiang Chen turned to look at Liu Jiyue and smiled faintly.
"I mentioned some people. If you feel it applies to you, that's not my problem," Liu Jiyue retorted with a cold snort.
"You, a spoiled rich kid, how much do you really know about martial arts or supernatural abilities? Can you even begin to gauge my skills?" Jiang Chen chuckled lightly, his voice icy.
"You can tell that to Master Jia later. If you can defeat him, I'll call you grandpa. But if you're not his match, then don't be so arrogant. This isn't the age of cold weapons anymore; no matter how high your skills are, what good will they do?" Liu Jiyue continued to provoke Jiang Chen.
"Jiyue, stop talking," both Li Xiyun and Liu Toukang urged simultaneously.
"Mr. Jiang, please don't take offense at my brother's words. He speaks without thinking. I'll make sure to teach him a lesson later," Liu Toukang stepped forward and spoke kindly.
Jiang Chen gave Liu Toukang a deep look but remained silent, shifting his gaze back to Black Dragon Island.
Jia Xingliang and Tu Li had already ascended Black Dragon Island, facing each other with tension in the air.
Both Jia Xingliang and Tu Li were top-tier experts in the realm of supernatural abilities. Their confrontation was like the clash of sharp blades, each unwilling to yield. The pressure from their combined presence seemed to weave a storm in the air, creating an oppressive atmosphere that everyone on the cruise ship could feel.
Though they were too far away to see clearly, most people were clever enough to bring binoculars.
On Black Dragon Island, Jia Xingliang and Tu Li stared coldly at each other; there was no need for physical combat in their contest of supernatural abilities.
Jia Xingliang took out a golden talisman paper and channeled his energy into it. The talisman ignited spontaneously, transforming into a fireball that shot towards Tu Li.
Tu Li let out a cold laugh as a shadow flew out from his black robe and collided with the fireball; it was a wooden talisman.
The two forces clashed, sending sparks flying and dark smoke swirling until they finally dissipated into the air.
"Heh, just as my master predicted, your Southeast Asian supernatural practices are still straying down the wrong path," Jia Xingliang scoffed upon seeing the dark energy from the talisman.
"In the realm of supernatural abilities, there is only high and low; there is no right or wrong. Defeat me first before discussing anything else," Tu Li retorted sharply as his aura surged violently. His black robe billowed as his hood fell back, revealing a ghostly visage.
"There are good and bad people; how could there be no right or wrong in practices? My master told you long ago that harmful practices lead nowhere. You were sent to Huaxia to cultivate yourself properly, but you didn't listen. I can only imagine how much worse you've become over these thirty years. Now you are filled with Sha Qi and toxic flames; there's no turning back for you. Today, I will rid the supernatural realm of your menace," Jia Xingliang declared as he unleashed his aura, a faint golden energy soaring into the sky like divine light bursting forth.
