I Can't Believe I'm in an Anime!

After work, Li Yunqing first went to a convenience store to buy a pork chop rice meal, planning to heat it up for dinner later.
After finishing his meal, Li Yunqing lay in his room scrolling through Douyin. At this point, he was already in his twenties. He had taught himself video editing and was quite skilled at it. Upon graduation, he landed a job at a large company that specialized in anime production, where he worked in post-production.
His job was very ordinary, a typical nine-to-five with not much work most of the time. Thanks to his skills, he often finished his tasks quickly. Despite some issues at home, he still managed to save quite a bit of money. Therefore, when he finished work, he didn’t stay behind at the office to learn from the more experienced colleagues. He would leave right after work without competing with others.
Today was no different; he quickly finished his shift, cooked for himself, tidied up, and then lay on his bed sharing snippets of his daily life on Douyin before continuing to scroll through the app.
Suddenly, he came across a video where a girl placed her hand on a computer screen displaying an anime and then seemed to step into the anime world itself, engaging in conversation with the characters. Li Yunqing found it amusing and liked the video before moving on to the next one.
Before long, he put his phone away and took out his notebook, preparing to watch some anime. After all, working at an anime company meant he needed to stock up on some knowledge about it, right? He opened a website and randomly clicked on an anime from the rankings that he hadn’t seen before.
As he watched, he suddenly recalled the short video from Douyin and chuckled. Just for fun, he decided to try placing his hand on the screen. To his surprise, something magical happened—his hand began to slowly sink into the anime world.
Startled, Li Yunqing quickly pulled his hand back and sat frozen in his chair.
“Did I just go inside? Why can I reach through?” These thoughts raced through his mind.
He looked at the notebook screen and touched it again. There was no hole there—how did I manage to put my hand through?
Curious, Li Yunqing glanced at his hand and then back at the anime playing on the screen. Tentatively, he placed his hand back onto the screen. This time, he felt no resistance; his hand passed right through effortlessly.
Li Yunqing picked up his phone and took a picture of his hand before pulling it back. He lay back down on the bed, holding up his hand that had just passed through the screen of his device.
Why was I able to reach inside like that?
Although Li Yunqing himself could hardly believe it, looking at the photo on his phone, he accepted the existence of this inexplicable ability. He glanced at his phone again and thought, I only tried it after watching that video. Could the person in the video do it too?
With that thought, Li Yunqing opened the Douyin app and clicked on the video he had just liked. As he scrolled through the comments below, he read:
"This editing skill is amazing!" was the first comment.
"If I could go in, I'd want to enter an anime world filled with girls, hehe," read the second comment.
After reading through the comments for a while, Li Yunqing realized that these people probably couldn't enter the anime world either. He then began to browse through older videos.
