Li Yunqing lay there for a while, still unable to feel the slightest bit of drowsiness; in fact, he felt quite alert. He sat up and rubbed his head. Is this what it feels like to have a body that’s too energized? Has my sleep cycle shortened?
Feeling bored, Li Yunqing picked up the spellbook that was resting on his bedside table and began to read. He glanced at the data frame but found it uninteresting, so he turned his attention directly to the spellbook. He enjoyed the sensation of flipping through the pages one by one.
His physical enhancement was comprehensive, including his brain. His thoughts were clear now, and his memory seemed significantly improved. Unlike the data frame's display, each page of the spellbook provided detailed introductions to various spells, covering everything from how they were generated to how they could be utilized and developed.
Li Yunqing found it fascinating; unfortunately, he had no magic of his own, or he would have loved to experiment with it. He placed his hand on a particular page, preparing to point at it for a closer look when suddenly, his hand passed right through.
What?!
Had the spellbook just swallowed his hand? He pulled it back and examined it. His hand seemed fine as he looked back at the spellbook. Could it be that each spell within the book is considered a creation? If I reach in to grab something, what would I get?
With that thought in mind, Li Yunqing reached his hand back into the book. Unlike visual media where one could see what they were reaching for, novels required one to grasp at the words that described what they wanted. Now, as he reached in carelessly, he had no idea what he might pull out.
As his hand entered, he felt an empty space inside; the temperature and humidity remained unchanged. He fumbled around but found nothing. Pulling his hand back out, he wondered if there was nothing there or if it was simply beyond his reach.
It seemed that some preparations were still needed. Flipping through the spellbook, I found a few basic spells.
**Magic Eye** [Second Tier]
Description: Creates a magical eyeball that, when placed, allows observation based on the amount of magical power, determining the distance and duration of the view using the perspective of **Magic Eye**.
**Magic Hand** [Second Tier]
Description: Creates a magical arm that can be used for attacking or moving objects, with its form changing according to the amount of magical power.
These two spells would suffice. I activated **Magic Eye**, holding it in my hand before reaching back into the spellbook once more.
This time, I gazed into the scenes within the book. Below was a long river shimmering with countless lights, stretching forward with an endless feeling. It seemed there was a star in the sky, continuously shimmering.
I looked around but found nothing to take. I activated **Magic Eye** again and let it drop. Through the perspective of **Magic Eye**, I drew closer to the river radiating countless lights, plunging into it and descending into endless darkness as **Magic Eye** looked up.
The river flowed above me while **Magic Eye** descended without any resistance into the pitch-black void below. Was this river impervious to collision?
**Magic Eye** also had physical collision properties; otherwise, I wouldn't be able to hold it in my hand. In my mind, **Magic Eye** should float above the river, drifting along with its currents.
Since that was the case, I could only focus on that star. This required a different observation spell.
**Celestial Eye** [Heavenly Eye]
Description: A spell produced by combining **Magic Eye** and **Angel Wing Magic**. When activated, it manifests as an eyeball with two white wings extending from behind it.
Li Yunqing controlled the Celestial Eye as it soared towards the stars, bringing the Magic Hand along for the ride. The Celestial Eye was a commonly used observation spell, known for its speed and significantly greater range of vision compared to the Magic Eye.
