She merely transformed herself to resemble a human, and as for why she chose to be female, she simply felt that she should be.
She glanced at Kei Yunqing, then at the humans walking on Earth, and thus adorned herself with clothing. In the blink of an eye, she appeared before Kei Yunqing, reaching out to caress his face.
Kei Yunqing did not resist; Jian Ji Gu took effect, allowing Kei Yunqing to successfully analyze the person before him. She continued to stroke Kei Yunqing, from head to toe, and he remained passive, while Sera and Lilu Lu nearby seemed unaware of the unusual scene.
"What a good child," she said, her voice ethereal, echoing in Kei Yunqing's ears even though her lips did not move.
Kei Yunqing smiled faintly but did not respond. She paid no mind to this, circling around him twice.
"Your power is strong, even stronger than mine. You truly do not resemble my child, but I can feel it; you were indeed born on Earth and bear my mark."
Her gaze was filled with tenderness as she looked at Kei Yunqing, her curiosity evident. Despite being merely a blink of an eye in her existence, he was surprisingly powerful—this genuinely intrigued her.
She stopped circling him and glanced at Sera and Lilu Lu before mimicking them by sitting on the sofa. Kei Yunqing sat beside her.
"In fact, there are several children like you, though they appear only after a long time. The last one was about a billion years ago—a creature you call a dinosaur. It was like an anomaly that devoured all its kin; the more it consumed, the stronger it became, eventually venturing into the depths of the universe.
There were also beings from hundreds of millions of years ago that grew stronger and journeyed into space. However, none were as powerful as you; they didn't even match my general strength. Perhaps after several hundred million years, they have surpassed me?"
She spoke with pride, as if showcasing how exceptional her child was.
Kei Yunqing looked at her gently; her words about surpassing her seemed like jest given her unchanged strength, yet he understood that there was something wrong with her body.
Humans...
A sense of sadness welled up within Kei Yunqing as he observed her expression. She embraced him tightly and stroked his head from behind.
"Don't be sad; they are still children."
"Not every child can be indulged, Mother," Kei Yunqing said softly.
She looked at Kei Yunqing with gentle eyes.
"I've lived for quite a while, and I find these children endearing. Is it long? Compared to other planets, you are still just a child."
She didn't respond, merely smiled.
Kei Yunqing could sense her thoughts and shook his head, choosing not to say anything further.
At that moment, Sera and Lilu Lu sat beside Kei Yunqing.
"Hey, were you talking to someone just now?"
"No, just talking to myself."
Sera and Lilu Lu each gave Kei Yunqing a quick kiss on the corner of his mouth and reached out to smooth the furrowed brow on his forehead.
"Alright, don't be upset."
"Okay."
Kei Yunqing smiled at Sera and Lilu Lu.
He then noticed Mother Earth floating before him, smiling down at him as if watching her own child being teased by a cabbage.
"I'm leaving now. Take care of yourself; waking up can be quite exhausting," Mother Earth said as she floated in front of Kei Yunqing, kissed his forehead, and then transformed into a glimmer of light before disappearing.
Kei Yunqing felt a gentle and encompassing power enter his body. This force began to sort through the chaotic energies within him, making it easier for him to harness them. Eventually, the power weakened and settled back into the area around his heart.
Kei Yunqing touched his heart; it felt warm there.
Sera and Lilu Lu noticed him touching his chest and assumed he was in pain. They placed their hands over his and looked at him with concern.
"Does it hurt, my dear?"
Kei Yunqing looked down at Sera and Lilu Lu sitting beside him, gently kissing their foreheads.
"It doesn't hurt; it feels warm."
