After a while, a few more people arrived, but they all looked quite ordinary, and their clothes had no distinctive features. Tian Zhong Fu Dong directly greeted them. Li Yunqing and the others sat together, watching him talk.
The others noticed that Li Yunqing was holding two beautiful girls and didn’t come over to chat. Checking the time, it was almost lunchtime. The people gathered here also formed groups and took out the dry rations they had brought with them to eat.

Li Yunqing smiled at Sera and Lilu Lu. "It's just like the Mushroom Hot Pot Soup we had last time, but this one is spicy and even tastier."
"Oh, I see." Sera and Lilu Lu certainly remembered the Mushroom Hot Pot Soup they had eaten while out shopping at night; it left a deep impression on them since it was their first time.
Li Yunqing watched as the broth in the pot began to bubble. "It’s about ready; add whatever you like."
"Okay!" The three of them began to eat while sipping Shuiyun Tea.
To be fair, Shuiyun Tea was indeed effective in alleviating spiciness, especially for Sera and Lilu Lu. Li Yunqing found it flavorful but didn’t think it was overly spicy. Meanwhile, Sera and Lilu Lu were hissing from the heat of the spice.
The three of them enjoyed their meal happily. However, a gust of wind carried the aroma of the hot pot to others nearby. It was lunchtime, and since no new arrivals had come up, it seemed everyone was resolving their meals on the way.
Those who had arrived earlier were gathered together, and no one was paying attention to Li Yunqing. Suddenly, upon catching a whiff of the delicious scent, they all looked up and sniffed the air, turning their gazes toward Li Yunqing. Through Tian Zhong Fu Dong's words, they knew that Li Yunqing and his companions were among the first to arrive, just like them, participating in the trial.
They were curious about how Li Yunqing's table and chairs had come to be there. According to the descriptions from the cultivators, it seemed they hadn’t been prepared in advance—did they bring them themselves? Now, with the enticing aroma wafting through the air, they glanced at their own cold, coarse grain cakes and then back at Li Yunqing's steaming hot pot.
Without comparison, there is no harm. Yet, smelling that delightful scent made their cakes seem more appetizing; still, once finished, they felt hungry again. Watching Li Yunqing continue to enjoy his hot pot made them feel a twinge of envy.
Li Yunqing certainly noticed the gazes directed at them; he wasn't alone in this realization—Sera and Lilu Lu also caught on to their stares. However, the three of them chose to ignore it; after all, they were just ordinary people with nothing much to discuss.
The earlier arrivals were mostly common folks; some more renowned cultivators' disciples would only show up in the afternoon. Li Yunqing was able to arrive so early thanks to teleportation.
After eating for a while longer, Li Yunqing finally cleared away the hot pot and brought out a fresh table. He brewed a pot of tea and sipped it slowly while chatting casually with Sera and Lilu Lu.
Before long, afternoon arrived with even more people showing up. Several individuals dressed in hakama appeared as well; Li Yunqing glanced over but didn’t recognize anyone among them. Notably, Kaguya Tsukuyomi and Kiriya had also arrived—the daughter of the public figure and his youngest son.
