Feeling the warmth of Li Yunqing's face, Sera and Ma Yi leaned in closer.
"Yes, Ma Yi said she can cook, and I want to learn too!"
Li Yunqing turned to Ma Yi.
With a smile, Ma Yi replied, "When I lived alone, I often cooked for myself and even learned from a chef, so it shouldn't be too bad."
Li Yunqing nodded in agreement. "I’m looking forward to it."
He patted the two girls and then took a seat at the dining table.
"Where have you been, dear? You’re so late!" Lilu Lu leaned over and hugged Li Yunqing's arm, asking.
Li Yunqing gently patted her head. "I went to the beach this afternoon and got so mesmerized by the sea that I lost track of time."
"There’s a beach? Let’s go together next time!" Lilu Lu and several other girls looked at Li Yunqing with eager anticipation. Most of them had only heard about the beach or seen it in pictures but had never been there to play.
Li Yunqing nodded at their enthusiasm. "Next time, I’ll take you all to see the sea."
"Great!"
Sera and Ma Yi brought out the last dish, untied their aprons, and sat down.
"Are we really going to see the beach?"
"Yes," Li Yunqing said with a smile. "They mentioned they’ve never played at the beach before and want to go together."
"Don’t get too excited; let’s eat first," he added.
Several people picked up their chopsticks.
"Wow! Did Ma Yi and Sister Sera make this? It tastes amazing!"
Although it wasn't as good as the food prepared by her husband, it wasn't far off either! There was a certain flavor to the dishes made by her sisters.
As they ate, Several Girls commented on the food. Hearing the praise from everyone, Sera and Ma Yi felt quite happy.
"If you like it, eat more! We can make this every day in the future."
"Great! From now on, the kitchen will be handled by Ma Yi and Sister Sera!"
"Sounds good!"
Li Yunqing watched them talk and smiled, taking a few more bites himself.
Dinner passed quickly. After washing the dishes, Li Yunqing joined Several Girls on the sofa.
He noticed that they always sat on the sofa to watch TV after dinner, digesting their meal while enjoying the show.
"You all shouldn't just stay at home all the time. The Royal Ring has phones and cards; you can go out and have some fun when you have time."
Hearing Li Yunqing's words, Several Girls exchanged glances. They indeed felt a bit bored, but they weren't sure what to do outside.
Li Yunqing thought for a moment. "How about I let Ma Yi and Zhi Ye take you out to have some fun? There are plenty of entertainment options."
"Okay!"
After finishing dinner and sitting on the sofa, it was easy to feel sleepy. Xiao Yagui had already fallen asleep in Li Yunqing's arms. A few others were starting to feel drowsy as well.
Li Yunqing carried Xiao Yagui to the bedroom first.
The bedroom was still small, with a double bed taking up most of the space. It seemed necessary to consider moving to a new place. Perhaps it would be a good idea to look for land in the suburbs and build a house.
Li Yunqing set Xiao Yagui down, closed the door, and walked over to the sofa. On the sofa, Ma Yi was engrossed in a magic book, while Sera and Lilu Lu were watching television. The Butterfly Sisters were whispering quietly to each other.
As Li Yunqing sat down, Sera and Lilu Lu snuggled up to him, resting their heads on his shoulder as they continued to watch the screen. He glanced at the several girls around him and realized that staying at home was becoming somewhat boring. It would be best for them to choose their realms soon so that they would have something to do.
After a few more hours, night fell, and Li Yunqing took the several girls to the bedroom to rest.
