Stepping outside, we found an open space where several girls engaged in a serious discussion.
"We are part of an organization, and now we need to take action. We require three things: muscle, intelligence, and money," Ma Yi stated.
The other girls nodded in agreement.
Zhi Ye and I were relatively familiar with the modern world, so we would handle the financial aspect. With the money provided by our husbands, we could manage to gather some startup funds, though I wasn't sure how much we would have.
Ma Yi looked at Zhi Ye, who nodded in response.
"I can't handle economic matters; I'll just assist you," Zhi Ye said.
Ma Yi smiled. "That's fine; your support is enough. With the magic from our husbands, making money shouldn't be too difficult."
Next came the muscle and intelligence. "For muscle, let's go with Sister Sera and Lilu Lu, shall we? You both love to fight, and this world seems to exist to fulfill your desires."
Sera and Lilu Lu exchanged glances and smiled in agreement.
"Exactly! We came here to hone our skills," Sera replied.
Ma Yi nodded. "I know about Sister Sera and Lilu Lu's abilities; there are only a few who could pose a threat to you."
"However, we should first clear out any unusual individuals around us to establish the reputation of our Yunqing Sect."
From what I had seen in the story, the known threat was the Old Celestial Master; beyond that, there didn't seem to be any significant dangers.
"Can we entrust intelligence gathering to Shinobu and Sister Kanao?" I asked.
Shinobu Kocho and Kanao Tsuyuri nodded in agreement.
"The Demon Slayer Corps has taught us how to conceal ourselves and gather intelligence; it won't be a problem," Shinobu assured us.
"Good. We will need information on concealment techniques as well as details about certain special individuals and events."
Ma Yi took out her phone, checked the apps, opened WeChat, and created a group.
"I've set up a group; everyone please join. This is our little circle," she announced. "Feel free to share any news directly in here. If we decide to bring in others later, we can discuss it then."
The other women quickly took out their phones, added each other as friends, and joined the group.
Seeing everyone had entered the group, Ma Yi smiled and glanced at the small villa behind her. "This will be our hidden base. I’ll look for a new location; that will be our main activity spot. If anyone needs to come back to see their husbands, just use the ring for teleportation."
Everyone understood Ma Yi's intention—to keep Li Yunqing's whereabouts concealed. After discussing for a while and exchanging glances, they decided it was time to take action.
In an instant, everyone except Ma Yi and Zhi Ye vanished from sight.
Zhi Ye turned to Ma Yi and asked, "Where are we heading now?"
Holding Zhi Ye's hand, Ma Yi led her outside. "Let’s see how much Li Yunqing has given us; it shouldn’t be too much."
After a while, Ma Yi looked at the one hundred million in her account and fell into deep thought. "Well, this is a good start. Since we have this much money, let’s go big."
They found a building that looked quite impressive, surrounded by several other structures. It wasn’t particularly tall—about ten stories high—but it had a decent environment. There was no noise nearby; a park was adjacent, with roads surrounding it and a residential area on the other side.
The location seemed quite nice. When they reached the bottom of the building, they immediately noticed a rental notice posted outside. Ma Yi examined it closely and saw that there were still a few employees working on the fifth floor.
The other floors were empty.
I made a call to have the Floor Manager come over. Upon hearing that someone was interested in renting a space, the Floor Manager was so excited that he drove over himself.
Seeing Ma Yi Xiao Qing, he didn’t say much; after all, she was young and full of energy!
