Several days passed, and Ke Tian Ci continued to practice skills under the guidance of various animals. After all, these were unique techniques they had honed over a long time. Although they didn't quite understand how Ke Tian Ci learned so quickly, as friends, they were more than willing to teach.
During this time, Sera followed closely behind Ke Tian Ci. As for Kei Yunqing, he ventured to another area on the First Floor. He discovered a vast grassland teeming with monsters, all of which were social creatures. In the center of the grassland lay a Water Area, where these monsters roamed about, drinking and then moving on to another group.
This place was promising; there were more monsters here than in the forest, and since they lived in groups, the skills gained would likely be similar, enhancing their proficiency. Kei Yunqing casually built a house on a small hill in the grassland—another wooden cabin that he would later decorate.
During this time, many monsters gathered around to inspect this unfamiliar sight in their territory. However, they did not attack the house. Instead, they curiously approached to take a look at Kei Yunqing inside, seemingly trying to catch his attention.
Kei Yunqing naturally possessed the ability of Friend of Heaven and Earth, allowing him to connect with creatures easily. Hearing the sounds outside, he walked to the window and gently patted the head of a Grassland Bull that was making noise.
Looking around, he noticed a crowd of monsters curiously gazing at him through the window. However, the Grassland Bull's towering height of over three meters blocked much of their view.
"I am your new neighbor; I look forward to getting along," Kei Yunqing said softly. His voice was not loud but resonated through his Friend of Heaven and Earth ability and immense Spiritual Power, reaching the minds of the monsters.
The monsters responded with a chorus of sounds, as if acknowledging his presence and welcoming him. Kei Yunqing patted the Grassland Bull's head again. "You all go play; I have things to attend to."
With that, Kei Yunqing returned inside his house to figure out what to do next.
Ten days later, after fully mastering the scriptures, Ke Tian Ci's eyes sparkled with a newfound brilliance, radiating an aura of wisdom. He was now capable of contemplating many things. With the enhancement of various passive skills, his body had also grown significantly stronger. He was at least half a head taller than when he first arrived in this realm, and his physique had developed some muscle definition.
Having completed his training, there was little left for him to improve upon in this area. Kei Yunqing returned, bringing along Ke Tian Ci and Sera as they made their way to the grasslands. Ke Tian Ci rushed to the window, his wide eyes fixated on the large groups of monsters outside.
Though they were called monsters, one could still discern their original forms—cows, rabbits, wolves, and the like. They could be considered a type of animal. Ke Tian Ci had grown up in Liyue, where he had seen very few animals. The monsters in Teyvat were not densely populated; while venturing out, he might encounter a few Hilichurls that seemed to appear from nowhere, but he still hadn’t seen many animals.
In the wilds, aside from the wild boars in Qingce Village and the ubiquitous geckos, there were hardly any other creatures. If one were to insist on mentioning them, it would be the immortals. In any case, animals were quite scarce in Liyue. Unlike now, where Ke Tian Ci could see hundreds of animals just by glancing around.
As he was lost in thought, a massive bull's head suddenly appeared before him. It stared at the Little Ones with wide eyes, curiously observing them. Wasn’t that man? How did he become so small?
It could naturally see that the Little Ones in front of it resembled Kei Yunqing, and they also carried the same unique aura as Kei Yunqing.
"Niu Niu, you!"
Ke Tian Ci reached out to touch it. His hand was small, about the same size as the nose of a Grassland Bull.
