A few days ago, Kei Yunqing arrived at the Water Domain Center and discovered the king here: the Grassland Lion King. The first name that came to Kei Yunqing's mind was Simba. Just thinking of it was enough.
"Do you have a name?"
"No."
"How about I give you one?"
"Sure."
"Then you shall be Simba!"
"Thank you."
Ke Tian Ci, upon hearing the name Simba, felt a sense of delight. "Dad really knows how to name things, it's so cool!"
"Simba, would you like to be my friend?"
Simba looked at Ke Tian Ci's hopeful eyes and couldn't help but think of Kei Yunqing. Just a few days ago, he had asked the same question.
Simba exhaled through his nose. "I would."
"That's great!" Ke Tian Ci was thrilled to have made a friend.
With their bond established, Simba's power increased, granting Ke Tian Ci a boost. Overall attributes didn't change much, but he gained a unique skill from Simba.
Lion King: As the king of lions, this special attribute multiplier allows for enhanced abilities.
With each attribute gained, Ke Tian Ci's power multiplied. However, his inherent attributes remained unchanged; this skill only activated after acquiring it, meaning any attributes gained prior would not take effect. Still, it was a decent improvement.
Ke Tian Ci was constantly making friends, and his attributes gradually increased. Even if it was just one friend contributing a small amount of attributes, every bit counted. In fact, if one were to compare attributes, Ke Tian Ci's values were already impressively high.
Sera's attributes were merely above average; Kei Yunqing often provided her with nutritious food to enhance her potential. She always reaped benefits from her training, but it was never as effortless as Ke Tian Ci's, nor did she achieve the same level of growth. Thus, Sera's attributes fell significantly short compared to Ke Tian Ci's. Of course, wearing the equipment given by Kei Yunqing would change that.
After successfully connecting with the Grassland Bull and the Grassland Lion King, Ke Tian Ci found himself atop Simba's head. Simba had a thick mane around his neck, and Ke Tian Ci nestled within it, completely hidden from view. Unable to see outside, he simply sat comfortably on Simba's head.
"Simba, where are we going?"
"I'll show you my territory. You share a similar aura with Li Yunqing; you should explore more of the creatures here." Simba deduced this based on the presence and behavior of Kei Yunqing and Ke Tian Ci.
Ke Tian Ci nodded in agreement. "My dad and I both love making friends!"
"Friends, huh?" The Lion King Simba chuckled as he leisurely strolled across the grasslands with Ke Tian Ci perched on his head. From six meters high atop the Lion King's crown, Ke Tian Ci could see much farther than ever before.
But even though Ke Tian Ci was blinded by Hawkeye, he still couldn't see the end of the grassland.
Simba, is this vast grassland all your territory?
Yes, the entire grassland is my domain. The grassland is in the center, surrounded by the territories of other lords in the southeast, southwest, northeast, and northwest.
To the south lies the forest where Ke Tian Ci used to stay, while the other three directions feature different terrains.
In the west, the temperature is high, mostly consisting of barren mountains.
To the north, it’s cold, with snow falling year-round.
The east is mild, with more wetlands and lakes.
It's so vast! I heard from my father that this is just one layer.
