Li Yunqing took out a lounge chair and sat down. Seeing him settle in, Sera followed suit and perched herself on his lap. The two nestled together, but a breeze kept flowing between them, as if the wind wanted to join their embrace. In that moment, it felt as if there were three of them together, surrounded by a vast starry sky.
In contrast to the leisurely atmosphere shared by Li Yunqing and Sera, Li Tian Ci had already led Simba out of the city and into the wilderness, where monsters roamed freely. The variety here was quite mixed; unlike the monsters on the First Floor, which were categorized by region and type, this place was a hodgepodge.
There were animal-type monsters among the grass, as well as small creatures and tree monsters. However, here, all sorts of attributes mingled together—animals, plants, undead creatures, and other life forms. This made it impossible to target specific monsters for hunting.
For Simba, though, this was hardly an issue. His own strength was formidable enough that these minor creatures posed little threat. Li Tian Ci followed behind Simba as he rampaged ahead, slaying monsters left and right. The other creatures did not attack Li Tian Ci; he had released his aura to establish a connection with his friends. Once he absorbed their attributes, they would be consumed by Simba.
Even after a friend’s demise, the attributes granted to Li Yunqing would not be retracted. Once given to Li Tian Ci, they belonged to him regardless of his friend's fate; there was no mechanism for reclaiming them after death. After all, if they were taken back, where would they return? Monsters were simply monsters; when they respawned or refreshed, their memories would vanish along with them.
It was unlike a player who retains memories after death; they simply lost some experience points. Simba's attacks alerted the monsters that this big fellow was there to hunt them, and more and more creatures began to gather around.
Li Tian Ci found it convenient to blend in with the atmosphere. It's worth mentioning that Li Tian Ci's level was actually quite low because he hadn't been grinding monsters; instead, he had been hanging out with friends, so naturally, he hadn't gained much experience.
In the current situation, it was actually Simba who was teaming up with him. As Simba killed monsters, Li Tian Ci could also gain experience. Moreover, they were dealing with level thirty monsters, so even if Li Tian Ci did nothing, he would still earn a decent amount of experience.
Currently, Li Tian Ci was almost at level ten. His profession was rather unique; due to being a Friend of Heaven and Earth, his class had transformed into Tian Xia Zhi You. The skill Friend of Heaven and Earth was counted as a specialized skill of Tian Xia Zhi You. This meant that Li Tian Ci had essentially created his own class.
The attribute growth method for Tian Xia Zhi You differed from other professions, which typically involved fixed attribute points and free points. Instead of having fixed and free point increases, it provided proportional growth—every time he leveled up, all his attributes would increase.
This resulted in a gradual increase in the early stages but a significant boost later on. However, this applied to other professions. For Li Tian Ci, who possessed the Friend of Heaven and Earth skill, the overall attribute enhancement was already a substantial figure.
Not to mention the attribute growth obtained from various regions earlier on, which multiplied the increases proportionally. Overall, in terms of numbers, Li Tian Ci had already become quite formidable.
He felt his body growing stronger and couldn't help but feel pleased about it. Just as Li Tian Ci was becoming aware of his physical prowess, Simba was already nearing his limit.
