Li Tian Ci paused in front of Anna.
"Rapid regeneration! Grow!"
Anna's pale complexion gradually turned rosy, and the holes in her body began to heal. Her nasal bones slowly reformed, accompanied by the growth of flesh. Blood vessels appeared in her eye sockets, slowly forming eyeballs. Though her mouth was closed, it was reasonable to assume that her tongue had also grown back.
However, while her body regained vitality, there remained a barrier between her soul and flesh after death. Even if she re-entered her own body, she could not fully control it. This required a Revival Skill.
Yet, Li Tian Ci had never encountered anyone with an actively released Revival Skill; all he possessed were passive ones that allowed him to resurrect at the spot where he died.
Quickly, Anna's body was fully restored. She controlled her body, took a few steps, blinked her eyes, looked around, and examined her hands. It felt real—this perspective beyond the elements was genuine. How long had it been since she last experienced this!
Anna felt a surge of excitement and trembled all over.
Li Tian Ci smiled at Anna. "Your body has regained vitality, but your soul and flesh have not completely merged yet. You need a Revival Skill to eliminate the barrier between them. I can't do it; my father should be able to."
Listening to Li Tian Ci, Anna squeezed her hands together and noticed some dissonance in her movements. She thought it was just because she hadn't used her body for so long.
"It's okay," she said. "You helped me restore my body; I'm already happy about that."
"You are my friend, and I will definitely help you. Let's go see my father today!"
"Can we really?" Anna asked hesitantly. Those who possessed Revival Skills were typically those closest to Angels.
Because the Revival Skill can only be possessed by those blessed by the Angel.
"Of course, we can do that. After all, we are friends. My dad is a good person and will definitely help you."
Li Tian Ci looked at Anna with a puzzled expression. "It's just helping out, what's there to hesitate about?"
Anna smiled at Li Tian Ci's reaction. "Thank you, Tian Ci. I never expected the first person I would meet while seeking revenge would be someone so kind."
"It's nothing. Let's go." Li Tian Ci extended his hand.
Anna glanced at Li Tian Ci and turned back for one last look at the dilapidated hall. She reached out to touch Li Tian Ci's hand, and a massive magic circle appeared beneath their feet.
In an instant, the two vanished from the church.
Nearly a day later, a group of people dressed in black robes arrived at the site.
"The Seed of Hatred has already awakened? This is nearly two years ahead of schedule?"
"Someone has been here."
Initially surprised, the black-robed figures soon noticed the footprints and the lingering aura left behind.
"The power of the Seed of Hatred seems somewhat weakened; could it be the Justice Bringer?" one of them remarked, sensing the fading power of hatred.
"This peculiar aura is strange; I find myself wanting to befriend its owner."
"Do you feel that way too?"
"You do as well?"
The black-robed figures exchanged glances, realizing they all shared this sentiment. After a moment of silence, they observed the ruined hall before departing.
Meanwhile, on Li Tian Ci's side, the teleportation was instantaneous. Upon returning, he saw his father holding two little ones and excitedly pulling Anna along.
"Dad, I brought a friend!"
Oh, Tian Ci is back so soon. Let me see your friend, Li Tian Ci, and Sera. They turned around to see their child holding hands with a beautiful blonde girl, who was blushing and looking down shyly.
What’s going on? How is it that in just a short while, my one-and-a-half-year-old son has already found a girlfriend?
