"Why is it so far away?" Li Tian Ci pondered, somewhat confused.
If players are truly like puppets, operated by their souls, then the soul itself shouldn't be so distant. He could sense the heavy barriers between him and Mei Pulu.
As he approached one of the barriers, he realized it was the Boundary Wall, or perhaps the Second Barrier. In this game world, each layer represented a barrier. From his father, Li Tian Ci had learned that there were six layers in total.
He contemplated what could help him break through these Boundary Walls. Suddenly, he thought of the Transmission Array at his doorstep. Could it be a way to pass through? Would reaching the highest layer be sufficient? However, Li Tian Ci was unaware of the locations of each Transmission Array; he would need Li Yunqing's assistance.
Determined, Li Tian Ci returned to the First Floor to find Li Yunqing. He discovered Li Yunqing was out shopping with Sera and Anna when he suddenly appeared before them.
"Is that you, Tian Ci? Did Mei Pulu return?"
"Yes, she did! By the way, Dad, can I go to the Meipulu Realm?"
Li Yunqing raised an eyebrow at Li Tian Ci's sudden request. "What made you want to go to the Meipulu Realm all of a sudden?"
"I brought Mei Pulu to our home today. She mentioned wanting magic like ours in her own house, and I want to help her," Li Tian Ci replied earnestly.
Li Yunqing looked at Li Tian Ci.
Seeing such an honest child, he wondered why he brought so many girls home. Sera and Anna were also silently staring at Li Tian Ci.
Li Tian Ci felt a bit flustered under their gaze. Why were they all looking at me like that?
Li Yunqing waved his hand dismissively. "It's nothing. You just want to go to the Meipulu Realm and help her with the spatial expansion magic, right? Can you do that? I haven't taught you, have I?"
All the magic comes from spellbooks, and Li Yunqing hadn't given Li Tian Ci a spellbook yet. The only magic Li Tian Ci knew was from the skills of monsters in this realm.
"Well, can I learn it, Dad?" Li Tian Ci's eyes sparkled as he looked at Li Yunqing.
Li Yunqing thought for a moment. He had originally intended for Li Tian Ci to sharpen his mind first and grow up a bit before teaching him. But with Li Tian Ci's special abilities, training in that realm wouldn't be very useful anyway.
Forget it; after all, Li Tian Ci was already strong enough now, so teaching him wouldn't hurt. "Come here; I'll teach you magic."
Li Yunqing beckoned for Li Tian Ci to come closer. He gathered the Azure Light Sphere in his hand. This was a modified ability derived from the Heavenly Master Degree, capable of recording Li Tian Ci's physical abilities and then imparting them to another person.
Li Tian Ci stared at the Azure Light Sphere in Li Yunqing's hand, feeling an immense amount of knowledge contained within it.
"What is this?" he asked, swallowing hard, his desire for the Azure Light Sphere evident.
Li Yunqing smiled as he looked at Li Tian Ci's eager expression.
This is the Inheritance Ball, a special ability of mine that allows me to impart a specific piece of knowledge to others.
