The two chatted for a long time before parting ways.
Upon returning home, Kei Yunqing glanced at the Several Girls who were still chatting, shook her head, and sat down beside them, pulling out a book to read once again.
Zhi Ye, noticing Kei Yunqing had come back, immediately ran into her embrace. She looked up, resting her forehead against Kei Yunqing's chin. When she caught Kei Yunqing's gaze, she smiled sweetly.
Kei Yunqing chuckled and hugged Xiao Yagui, giving her a quick kiss. What a little cutie.
Kei Yunqing held Zhi Ye like that, and Zhi Ye enjoyed being held; it felt very comfortable to her. She soon fell asleep in Kei Yunqing's arms.
Xiao Yagui was not one to talk much anyway, and the Several Girls didn’t notice Zhi Ye had disappeared. It wasn’t until much later that they stopped their conversation and realized that Kei Yunqing had quietly settled beside them, with a sleeping Xiao Yagui in her arms.
They gathered closer.
"Hubby, when did you come back?" one of them asked.
"I didn't even notice you were back," another chimed in.
Kei Yunqing put down her book and smiled. "I've been back for a while; I didn't want to interrupt your chat."
Xiao Yagui stirred awake at the sound of voices.
"Hmm?" She looked around at the several sisters before glancing up at Kei Yunqing, realizing they must have just finished talking.
"Are we going to sleep?" Xiao Yagui asked cutely.
"Yes, go ahead and sleep," Kei Yunqing replied as she lifted Xiao Yagui into her arms, with the other Several Girls following suit.
Upon entering the room, the bed had indeed been modified by the Several Girls, making it larger and softer. As Kei Yunqing lay down, the eyes of the Several Girls sparkled with a predatory glint, gazing at him like wolves eyeing their prey.
"Darling, we're here!"
As for the children, Ke Tian Ci had returned, and naturally, it was his responsibility as the older brother to take charge. The Little Ones were not tired at all; in fact, they were full of energy. Observing that his younger siblings possessed some magical talent, Ke Tian Ci decided to expand the room to ten square meters, creating a spacious area for him to demonstrate magic.
Ke Tian Ci was eager to teach them magic right away. However, he did not possess the miraculous Inheritance Ball ability that his father, Kei Yunqing, had. Thus, he could only teach them one spell at a time.
"It requires magical power," he explained. "But you should all have a little bit of magic within you; that's inherited from your mother. The elements here are abundant, so it should be possible."
"You don't have the ability to communicate with Elemental Spirits like I do," he continued. "So you'll need to praise the Elemental Spirits like normal wizards to cast spells."
At that moment, Kong Qing Hu spoke up. "What happens if we don't praise them?"
The other children were also curious about this question. Ke Tian Ci patted his head thoughtfully. "Well, if you don't praise them, it will upset the Elemental Spirits, and the elements you use will backfire on you."
