In the Great Wilderness, the Shan Niu is regarded as a spirit-like presence. Although it may leave, it also has the ability to protect humanity. Even with the presence of Liu Shen, having an additional Shan Niu is still a good thing. However, no one knows when the Shan Niu arrived. Was it Li Yunqing who brought it back from the training grounds? Since Li Yunqing is not originally from the Great Wilderness, he probably does not understand the significance of the Shan Niu.
The people in Shi Village have various opinions, but some of them are indeed correct. Li Yunqing does not really understand this kind of Wild Beast. He merely thought it was strange that a mountain seemed to be breathing and brought it back upon discovering it was a cow. Since it was meant for Shi Hao, he treated it rather casually, never considering that the Shan Niu might hold such meaning.
The Shan Niu arrived outside the village and glanced at the enormous willow tree before lying down next to a large rock in the village. Now that it was here, it might as well take a nap. Before long, the Shan Niu had fallen into a deep sleep. Li Yunqing watched as the Shan Niu slept and did not intervene. Instead, he turned his attention to the children of Shi Village.
"Do you want to give it a try?" The members of the Hunting Team looked curiously at the children of Shi Village.
"What are you battling against?"
"The young Dragonhorn Elephant!"
"What?!" The Hunting Team was very familiar with Dragonhorn Elephants; they often returned to the village after hunting these top-tier Wild Beasts. However, it seemed that even young Dragonhorn Elephants were not beyond the capabilities of the children.
One tall member of the Hunting Team remarked.
Everyone realized that while the Dragonhorn Elephant was strong, its strength lay in its thick skin and immense power. These juvenile Dragonhorn Elephants were not as impressive. Although the children from Shi Village were still young, they had built a solid foundation through long periods of Yao Yu and training, far surpassing these adults.
"Let’s give it a try!"
"Is Da Hei coming too?"
"What about Pi Monkey?"
"Let’s just try it!"
The stronger children began to encourage the others, and a few of them grouped together, heading towards the training ground. Li Yunqing watched them enter and nodded, then raised the protective barrier once more.
A juvenile Dragonhorn Elephant appeared in the center of the training ground. It looked around in confusion; this was not an environment it recognized.
With a stomp of its foot and its trunk raised high, it let out a call.
The agitated Dragonhorn Elephant paid no mind to the small creatures around it. Feeling somewhat frightened in this unfamiliar setting, it charged toward the little ones. Though it was just a juvenile, its legs were broader than those of an adult human! The force of its stomp was tremendous.
The Young Dragon Horn Elephant moved slower compared to other Wild Beasts, but to these children, it felt incredibly fast.
"Scatter!"
Meng shouted loudly, being the strongest among the children and the first to react to the Dragonhorn Elephant's intimidation. Hearing Meng's shout, the other children finally reacted and dodged away from the charging Dragonhorn Elephant.
Seeing that everyone had fled, the Dragonhorn Elephant found itself unable to turn around. It abruptly stopped, lifted its front legs high, and then stomped down. A visible shockwave radiated outward from the Dragonhorn Elephant, spreading across the area.
A portion of the children, caught off guard, were knocked to the ground. The Dragonhorn Elephant immediately rushed toward those fallen kids! Fortunately, a large number of children remained standing and quickly went to help their fallen peers. When they saw the Dragonhorn Elephant approaching, they didn't have time to assist the others; instead, they picked them up and hurriedly ran in the opposite direction.
