Even from a distance, its outline was visible. Towering above the surrounding mountains, its massive form resembled a colossal bull engulfed in flames. The fire that erupted from its body seemed intent on scorching the sky, painting half of it in a vivid red.
Despite its enormous size, it moved with surprising speed. What appeared to be far away suddenly collided with the Suan Ni Pagoda, causing it to shake violently.
On the other side, a purple monkey with gigantic wings and powerful arms descended from the sky. Its size was comparable to that of the bull. It landed directly atop the Treasure Pagoda, which had already been battered and broken by the attacks of the two formidable Wild Beasts.
In an instant, the Treasure Pagoda shattered, and from its base, two scarlet glows flickered ominously. The next moment, fragments of the Treasure Pagoda were sent flying as Suan Ni seized the opportunity while the two Wild Beasts were distracted. With a swift strike, it severed one of Li Huo Niu Mo's horns and also broke one of the Demon Ape's arms.
The onlooking humans gasped in astonishment. Was Suan Ni not dead? Had it merely been pretending to be lifeless to lure in its nemesis? Was this still a Wild Beast? Such intelligence was astounding!
If that were true, then Suan Ni's treasure body was truly beyond their reach. With three super Wild Beasts clashing, even at this distance, they could easily be caught in the crossfire. Most tribes began to retreat.
However, Shi Village remained due to Li Yunqing and Zhong Li's presence; they did not leave. Li Yunqing watched with great interest as the three Wild Beasts battled below.
All three Wild Beasts were enraged and unleashed their most powerful techniques. Li Huo Niu Mo's flames blazed even brighter, while the Demon Ape transformed its massive wings into colossal arms. Suan Ni took a deep breath, and this inhalation affected even those in Shi Village several miles away.
What an incredible pull! Some weaker Hunting Teams were swept away by the force.
Li Yunqing intercepted them.
A golden light burst forth from Suan Ni's mouth, charging towards Li Huo Niu Mo and the Demon Ape. The speed and power of the attack were so immense that it instantly struck both Li Huo Niu Mo and the Demon Ape, splitting even the clouds in the sky in two. This blow pierced through the heavens!
Injured, Li Huo Niu Mo and the Demon Ape hurriedly fled. Suan Ni stood in place, watching as the two Wild Beasts escaped, and once their figures disappeared, it collapsed to the ground.
Why did Suan Ni fall? Perhaps it was already on the brink of death; having unleashed its strongest attack, it had exhausted all its strength.
Li Yunqing said nothing. With a casual wave of his hand, Suan Ni's corpse flew over, and a group of hidden Wild Beasts approached to look at it. Without uttering a word, Li Yunqing glanced at them, and a spike of earth shot up from the ground, piercing through the bodies of the Wild Beasts.
The few Wild Beasts that weren’t instantly killed by the spikes hesitated as they glanced at their fallen companions. Some chose to flee, while others remained drawn to Suan Ni’s corpse. Li Yunqing paid them no mind and summoned more earth spikes to deal with them.
He had obtained Suan Ni's treasure body.
Days passed, and a raging inferno erupted deep within the Great Wilderness. The people of Shi Village felt a sense of unease as they looked at their village's protective barrier; their worries lessened somewhat.
Due to the struggle for Suan Ni's treasure body, along with Li Yunqing's assistance, there were quite a few Wild Beast corpses available, which could be preserved for food. It was better not to venture outside amidst such chaos.
Li Yunqing also watched the fierce battles occurring among a multitude of Primordial Legacies in the sky.
