Turning around, Ye Feihong found himself surrounded by the vines. At that moment, he recalled the lessons learned in class. The perception range of Dark Plants was related to their root systems. He had initially thought that the vines only extended ten meters. The perception range was not very large, but he was gravely mistaken. He had not considered that this ruin contained such a deep basement. The exposed vines were merely a small section of what lay beneath.
This particular vine was not only not the weakest type of Dark Plant; its size indicated it had already reached the level of a Level Plant. He realized he had been too careless. On the very first day, he had made such a serious error.
However, Ye Feihong reacted quickly. He immediately commanded his Peashooter to start attacking, targeting the vine that was entangling his legs.

As a Level Plant, the Peashooter rapidly fired peas from its barrel, severing the vines that wrapped around Ye Feihong's legs. Yet, just as he attempted to escape, several more vines ensnared his body once again. Facing this direction, there was only one Peashooter available. Its firing rate could not clear away so many vines in such a short time.
Ye Feihong was quickly pulled into the basement below.
At the root of the vine, a pair of large mouths, reminiscent of a Carnivorous Vine, had formed, eager to swallow Ye Feihong whole. It seemed that the plant required a bit of sunlight to exert its control. This was the voice of the system.
Just yesterday, he had a final bit of sunlight left.
"Yes," Ye Feihong said immediately.
The vine's movements halted. He was now less than ten centimeters away from its enormous mouth. Ye Feihong breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, he had the Farm Owner System and had saved that last bit of sunlight instead of using it yesterday. If he had exhausted it, he would truly be facing death here today.
This vine now resembled a Peashooter, having established a connection with Ye Feihong. He controlled the vine to lower himself to the ground, positioning himself in front of the vine's seeds. To his surprise, there were over thirty vine seeds present. This was fantastic; it meant that on his first day at Heaven Gate, he had acquired more than thirty crop levels.
He quickly gathered the Vine Seeds and then commanded the vine to help him exit the basement. Ye Feihong hurried back to his High-Rise Ruins.
With great joy, he planted a Vine Seed. The Vine Seed not only possessed strong offensive and defensive capabilities, but the best part was that he would no longer have to climb in the High-Rise Ruins. For instance, just this morning, it took Ye Feihong over ten minutes to descend from the tall building.
Once this Vine Seed matured, Ye Feihong would be able to control the vines directly, effortlessly navigating through the High-Rise Ruins. It would be even more convenient than an elevator. Elevators could only go up and down, while these vines could move in all directions—up, down, forward, and sideways.
Ye Feihong surrounded himself with the High-Rise Ruins, planting over thirty Vine Seeds within a ten-meter radius. This meant that he effectively controlled a circular area with a diameter of ten meters. His Farm Owner's Dark Territory had reached an astonishing seventy thousand meters. Within this seventy thousand meters, Ye Feihong was protected by the vines.
After a little over ten minutes, the vines gradually grew into a complete form. The vines were different from Peashooters. Peashooters, these specially modified plants, had underdeveloped root systems. This was designed to facilitate Farmers in moving the Peashooters' locations easily.
