This time, the dark creatures have been identified and marked by the Supercomputer. Their strength has reached a formidable level. Although they appear to be few in number, their combat power is significantly greater than that of the previous wave, which was rated at a lower tier. Their main body is no longer the weakest Zombie; instead, it is the Giant Insect.
These creatures resemble insects but are larger than typical Xiong Shi. The Dark Insects are fast, ferocious in their attacks, and agile in movement. They can quickly rush into the Farm Owner's territory for close combat. Behind them are numerous Kowtow Monsters, along with a combination of over a dozen Mammoths.
Despite their total number being only one hundred thousand, the disparity in combat power compared to the first wave of dark creatures is immense. Their speed, attack power, and range far exceed that of the ten thousand Zombies from the initial wave.
The Imperial Guards advised caution, stating that your ranged units must outnumber the Kowtow Monsters; otherwise, victory will be impossible. The Supercomputer calculated that the number of Kowtow Monsters has reached a staggering figure.
Looking outside his house at the Yuan Zhuang Box filled with Pea Seeds, Ye Feihong expressed his confidence in ranged firepower. He reassured the Imperial Guards' commander, saying, "Don't worry; I can handle this wave of dark creatures on my own."
Since he had received this intelligence, Ye Feihong decided not to continue producing Sunflowers for the next couple of days. The dark creatures had traversed several hundred kilometers through the Grand Canyon, which would take them two days to cover.
In the past few days, it would be wise to store up some Sunlight Energy. With Ye Feihong's efforts, he has consumed a significant amount of Dark Plant Seeds. Now, his strength has grown immensely compared to when he first became a Farmer.
Ye Feihong has utilized a large number of vines to continue gathering various defensive materials. However, this time, he did not use them to reinforce the walls of his Farm Owner's territory. Instead, he constructed two Bunkers in front of his Farm Owner's area, one on each side.
These two Bunkers are located two hundred meters in front of Ye Feihong's Farm, positioned to shield the Farm Owner from potential threats. During combat, the Bunkers can also strike at targets further away. If the Bunkers are besieged by dark creatures, the two hundred meters distance falls well within the attack range of Peashooters.
Ye Feihong's Farm Owner can also provide support to the two Bunkers. This strategy was devised after careful consideration; he realized that establishing a complete defensive perimeter around the vast area of the Farm Owner would require an excessive amount of resources.
The ruins of Heaven Gate are not composed of usable pieces of Reinforced Concrete. Many fragments have undergone severe oxidation and corrosion, rendering them as fragile as tofu. The abandoned cars scattered along the streets are similarly deteriorated.
Some dilapidated old cars, their steel frames already oxidized and rusted, lay scattered about. A vine tugged gently and snapped one in half. However, some cars were remarkably sturdy. Their pillars and chassis remained incredibly tough even after all this time. Even the War Tree would find it no simple task to deal with these metals.
After the vine collected the usable scrap cars, it would pull them onto a solid platform. This place, decades ago, must have been a scenic area, marked by a massive stone. Once the vine had dragged the abandoned cars atop it, the War Tree would channel its strength and deliver a punch to the car resting on the stone.
At first, controlling this power was challenging. If too much force was applied, the War Tree could shatter both the car and the large stone beneath it into pieces. Conversely, if too little force was used, the car wouldn’t transform into the shape that Ye Feihong desired.
With a thunderous crash, one car was flattened, becoming a shield measuring over a meter long and two meters wide. The vine would then take these shields and transport them to be placed on the exterior walls of the Bunker for the Farm Owner.
