Boom, boom, boom.
As three mushroom-shaped clouds appeared in the sky, the many generals of the Sakura Kingdom, who had been laughing heartily, suddenly wore expressions of panic.
"Dammit, these bastards are actually using nuclear weapons! We need to hide underground!"
The immense heat ignited the air, causing a massive surge of hot air to rise rapidly. The cooler air from afar began to fill in, forming the mushroom-shaped clouds. The people of the Sakura Kingdom scrambled toward the nearest underground shelter in disarray.
One general of the Sakura Kingdom angrily declared, "We must strongly condemn the Dragon Kingdom for daring to use nuclear weapons! They want the Divine Tree to undergo a second mutation and destroy humanity!"
With that, he placed all the blame squarely on the Dragon Kingdom.
A protest call from the Sakura Kingdom was received by a communications officer of the Dragon Kingdom's Imperial Guard. He responded with a single line: "Please activate the radiation detector and check for any signals."
Upon hearing this, the general of the Sakura Kingdom glanced at his surroundings. He found that there were indeed no radiation alarm signals present.
"How is this possible? Such a powerful explosion, and it’s not from a nuclear weapon?" he wondered aloud. "What could possibly cause such a massive explosion?"
The general immediately issued an order: "At all costs, find out what this Wu Yan is that the Dragon Kingdom has developed."
Beside him, a small-statured lieutenant with thick glasses trembled as he spoke, "General, shouldn’t our primary concern be whether the Divine Tree has been destroyed?"
For decades, the Sakura Kingdom had secretly sought to learn from the technology of the Dragon Kingdom. This general instinctively thought about acquiring this powerful bomb technology for themselves, completely forgetting that their greatest threat should be the Divine Tree.
Hearing the situation regarding the guards, the Sakura Kingdom General finally reacted.
"Right, right, what’s going on with the Divine Tree? We need to hurry and check it out on the ground!"
The nearby guards quickly stopped the Sakura Kingdom General.
"General, with such an explosion, there will definitely be a shockwave. The ground is not safe right now."
The Sakura Kingdom General replied, "Then what should we do? If we can’t go up, how are we supposed to assess the situation with the Divine Tree?"

The Sakura Kingdom General angrily exclaimed, "Baka! Why didn’t you turn on the cameras earlier? You useless bunch!"
The Lieutenant shook his head helplessly. With a general like this, did they really have a future in the Sakura Kingdom? He went to turn on the cameras and aimed them towards the direction of the Divine Tree.
The Sakura Kingdom had a tradition known as the Bloodline Theory. This could be understood from their Mo Qian comics. For example, two of the most famous comics featured characters who seemed like underdogs at first. One was a seemingly useless ninja who turned out to be the son of a powerful leader with the strongest bloodline, ultimately defeating their ancestors. The other was a small pirate whose grandfather was the strongest Navy officer and whose father was the leader of the Free Alliance. He gathered crew members with First Sword God Bloodline connections, all of whom appeared to be ordinary but had extraordinary backgrounds.
This is what defined the Bloodline Theory of the Sakura Kingdom.
In facing the attack from the Divine Tree, many generals from the Sakura Kingdom had perished. The remaining individuals were mostly from collateral branches of their lineage. They had previously been treated as mere dependents. Now that all the direct lineage members were dead, according to the Bloodline Theory, these formerly insignificant individuals had seized power in the Sakura Kingdom.
This was also why the Sakura Kingdom fell so quickly—due to the powerful shockwaves unleashed by the Divine Tree.
More than a dozen cameras had already been destroyed. Finally, one intact feed appeared on the screen in the Underground Defense Room, showing the area near the Divine Tree.
In the distance, the mist slowly began to dissipate. The first to vanish was the base of the fog, revealing the trunk of the Divine Tree, several meters in diameter.
The general of Sakura Kingdom was in disbelief. How could this be possible? After such a powerful explosion, that accursed tree was still alive?
A chorus of wails echoed from behind.
How could this be? It was still standing? We are doomed in Sakura Kingdom.
