The guards remained remarkably calm, their eyes fixed on the screen. They were seasoned veterans of the battlefield, far more composed than the generals of Sakura Country.
As time passed, the midsection of the Divine Tree began to emerge. Unlike before, it was now engulfed in fierce flames, continuing to emit thick plumes of smoke. The Divine Tree had been wounded. For the moment, they could not see what was happening above; all they knew was that the condition of the Divine Tree was undoubtedly dire.
At a height of only a few hundred meters, most of the tree's body was ablaze. The once invulnerable Divine Tree had sustained injuries. Soon, the Lieutenant noticed something amiss. The flames on the Divine Tree were not dying down; instead, they burned even more fiercely. If the Divine Tree were still alive and had suffered such damage, it would surely use its branches to extinguish the flames consuming its body rather than allowing them to continue ravaging it.
In the distance, a flight formation that had strayed far from the capital of Sakura Country was returning. They were using high-definition cameras mounted on their fighter jets to capture the scene.
The situation before them was sent to the Imperial Guard Monitoring Room.
One Star General remarked, "It seems the Divine Tree has been neutralized."
San Star General added, "We must eradicate the roots; after all, it is the Divine Tree. Bomber squadron, prepare to attack."
The recent explosion had unleashed a powerful shockwave that not only annihilated numerous dark creatures but also eliminated threats like the flying dragons and Void Larvae in the sky.
Now, the Dragon Kingdom's Air Force faced no threats whatsoever. They unleashed a relentless barrage of ammunition at the still-smoking Divine Tree.

The continuous sounds of explosions echoed around them. Gradually, the thick smoke surrounding the Divine Tree began to clear. As the tree's massive form shattered into countless pieces, a thick cloud of smoke dissipated, revealing only the remnants of what had once been—a mass of debris torn apart by relentless firepower.
This tree, which had nearly led to the extinction of Sakura Country, was finally destroyed.
After confirming the kill, the Dragon Kingdom's Air Force began their return. Meanwhile, the generals of Sakura Country remained huddled together, weeping in despair.
"What will we do if it can't be killed?" they lamented. In their grief, they failed to notice the subsequent images displayed on the screens.
A Lieutenant coughed several times before speaking up loudly, "Report to the General: The Divine Tree has been confirmed as destroyed."
Hearing this voice nearby, the Sakura Nation General, who was crouched on the ground with his head in his hands, could only weep in pain.
He finally looked up at the screen.
With a hearty laugh, he declared, "Under my leadership, we have finally triumphed over the Divine Tree. I will go to the temple to honor my ancestors; I, Ben Shan, am the most elite disciple of our family."
The other generals chimed in with flattering remarks, praising the Great General's might.
Only the Lieutenant behind him cautiously took a few steps back, trying to hold his breath. Just moments ago, the Great General had been so frightened that he nearly lost control, and the lingering scent was unmistakable. He chose to ignore it.
