As the thick smoke dissipated, the reconnaissance satellite finally revealed the full view of Kyoto in Sakura Country. The entire city formed a pattern reminiscent of the Tai Chi symbol. The site of the divine tree had been reduced to a charred wasteland. Both the divine tree and a significant amount of darkness had turned to dust. 0

On the other side of Kyoto, many buildings had collapsed due to the shockwave, sending clouds of dust into the air. As time passed, this dust settled on the structures, obscuring their original colors and transforming them into a vast expanse of gray in the aerial photographs taken by the reconnaissance satellite. This coincidentally resembled the Tai Chi symbol favored by the people of Dragon Country. 0

Emerging from the underground defenses was the General of Sakura Nation. He surveyed the devastated streets and, filled with anger, declared, "We must demand compensation from Dragon Kingdom for our losses." The other generals nodded in agreement. 0

In Kyoto, a significant portion of the houses belonged to them. Most civilians in Sakura Country could not afford homes. These generals would divide their properties into small units ranging from ten to fifty square meters and rent them at high prices to those civilians, who were now affected by the destruction. Many of their properties had collapsed, resulting in substantial losses. 0

The generals were adamant that this money must be compensated by Dragon Kingdom. The Grand General and several other generals discussed how much they should demand from Dragon Kingdom for reparations. Meanwhile, a lieutenant listening to their conversation felt a surge of envy. 0

They had mobilized all their national resources in Sakura Country and still could not withstand the divine tree's power, while Dragon Kingdom had resolved the terrifying threat with just one bombing. Did they not think critically? What would happen if such a powerful bomb were to fall upon them? Yet here they were, still contemplating how much compensation they could extract from Dragon Kingdom for their losses. 0

Money over life, they say. 0

You generals don’t care about your lives, but here I am, a mere Lieutenant, still hoping to survive. 0

With no other choice, I interrupted the discussion among the generals once more. “Gentlemen, if the Dragon Kingdom is using weapons that can destroy the Divine Tree—” 0

Before I could finish, the generals finally grasped the gravity of the situation. While they were still thinking about money, it seemed they had forgotten about their own lives. As generals of Sakura Country, they enjoyed wealth and power far beyond that of ordinary people, yet they were just as afraid of death. 0

One general spoke up, “We must quickly express our gratitude to the Dragon Kingdom for their assistance. We should recognize them as our elder brother without delay.” 0

“That’s not enough,” another added. “I believe we should offer tributes to the Dragon Kingdom.” 0

The Grand General interjected, “A marriage alliance would be best. We can offer tributes and acknowledge them as our elder brother; besides, with the prince coming of age soon, a marriage alliance would be most suitable.” 0

The conversation among the Sakura Country generals shifted dramatically. The speed of this change caught even me, the Lieutenant, off guard. Just moments ago, they were furious about compensation; now they were discussing tributes and marriage alliances. 0

The Imperial Air Force had successfully completed their mission. 0

General San Star watched the aerial view of Sakura Country’s capital from the monitoring room and let out a sigh of relief. “It seems the crisis in the East has been temporarily resolved.” 0

General One Star nodded in agreement. “Although the generals of Sakura Country are somewhat inept, they are fierce in battle and should be able to hold out for quite some time.” 0

General San Star replied, “In that case, let’s shift our focus back to the Western Regions.” 0

“What has that kid Ye Feihong been up to lately?” 0

At Heaven Gate, after several days of careful nurturing, the Dark Night Life Tree finally gathered enough power to produce its first Night Elf. However, it was nothing like what Ye Feihong had envisioned. 0

She was not just any ordinary being; her figure was incredibly alluring, her face strikingly beautiful, and she possessed a pair of pointed ears. A stunning and sexy archer, she was a Night Elf. 0

In stark contrast, there was another creature, no larger than a basketball. It floated in the air, darting around playfully like a mischievous little deer in the Farm Owner's domain. 0

Ye Feihong fell silent. Without checking through the system to view its attributes, he already knew this was not a combat-capable unit. It couldn’t fight and wasn’t just a pretty elven girl. All he could do was gaze at it. 0

He decided to check the Sprite's attributes through the system. It had four skills: Gathering, Healing, Building, and Purification. 0

The Gathering skill allowed it to attach to plants and extract Life Energy. The Healing skill enabled it to provide treatment to plants. With enough Life Energy, the Sprite could transform into various types of attribute plants through its Building skill. The Purification skill involved the Sprite burning its own Life Energy to dispel all negative energy within a certain range. 0

Currently, Ye Feihong could only construct two buildings: a Barracks and an Altar. The Barracks could produce Dark Night Archers, while the Altar could summon a Night Elf Hero. 0

After thoroughly reviewing all the information, he felt that the Night Elf race bore some resemblance to ants. From birth, their future roles were predetermined. The Dark Night Life Tree produced only Sprites, which undoubtedly served as worker ants responsible for production, construction, and various laborious tasks. 0

The barracks were filled with Night Elves. They were just ordinary soldier ants, equivalent to the common foot soldiers. From the altar emerged another group of Night Elves, who were born into the nobility of their kind. They wielded the strongest powers and lived the best lives, much like the general of the Ant Colony. 0

Ye Feihong found himself growing increasingly disenchanted with this race. In Sakura Country, despite the strict Bloodline Theory, ordinary people still had a chance to rise up. But for the Night Elves, from the moment of birth, each individual's fate was already sealed. This was undoubtedly one of the most tragic aspects of their species. The direction in which their race advanced was controlled by a few Hero Units. 0

However, upon reflection, even those Hero Units were ultimately subservient to their own commands. All Night Elves would have to obey their orders in the future. Ye Feihong found himself no longer disliking this race. The circumstances dictated his thoughts. 0

If he were an ordinary Night Elf archer, he would certainly resent such a predetermined fate. From birth, he would be destined to be just another common soldier. Yet now that he was a Night Elf himself, everyone would have to heed his commands. This was certainly better than producing a race that was difficult to control. 0

It seemed that during this time, he not only needed to develop his role as a Farm Owner but also had to quickly establish the Night Elves. His life was becoming increasingly busy. 0
