The massive Nest of the Dark Creatures began to roll through the air, attempting to throw both Ye Feihong and the Watcher off its back. With Ye Feihong's Mental Power, he was able to soar through the skies. No matter how the world spun around him, it could not affect him in the slightest.
The Watcher, as an assassin hero, was exceptionally agile. Dozens of throwing knives flew from his hands, piercing into the back of the Dark Nest Lord. Gripping these knives tightly, he continued to advance rapidly on its back.
Suddenly, the scene before Ye Feihong changed dramatically. He found himself on a planet entirely covered in vegetation. The flora here was lush and vibrant, supporting countless incredibly powerful insects. Perhaps due to the abundance of food, these insects were all towering giants, each standing over ten feet tall. They charged at Ye Feihong with fierce intent.
The bizarre sight left Ye Feihong in awe. He pondered how rich in resources the world must have been for these Dark Swarm armies to thrive. However, he did not panic in the face of their attacks. He understood that this could not be a real scenario; it was merely an illusion created by the Dark Brainworm.
If they possessed the ability to teleport across planets, such power could easily destroy Blue Star. The people of Blue Star would have no chance to resist at all.
Ye Feihong was not affected in the slightest. He did not resist the illusions created by the Mental Power. These monsters seemed endless. To escape, one had to destroy the illusions produced by the Dark Brainworm. It could be done through personal suffering or by relying on immense willpower. Some individuals could also use their clever minds to identify flaws within the illusions, allowing them to break free.
However, as a king, Ye Feihong had no intention of resorting to such methods. He began to emanate his own Mental Power in all directions. The ground beneath his feet, the surrounding trees, and the approaching Swarm in the distance all started to fade into nothingness under the assault of Ye Feihong's formidable Mental Power. The entire original planet of the Dark Swarm was rapidly disintegrating, slowly vanishing until it turned into emptiness.
As one illusion dissipated, Ye Feihong remained unchanged. Due to the turmoil of the Nest of the Dark Creatures, he found himself upside down, standing on the back of the Nest. On the other side, the Watcher was not so fortunate. Under the influence of the illusion, her hands released the blade, and she began to fall from the sky.
As Ye Feihong shattered the illusion created by the Dark Brainworm, the falling Watcher executed a Shimmering maneuver, attempting to fly towards the back of the Dark Nest Lord. However, she was still too far away; her Shimmering double jump fell short by several dozen meters.
Ye Feihong quickly extended his left hand. A powerful surge of Mental Power allowed him to grasp the body of the Watcher in mid-air, pulling her back onto the back of the Dark Nest Lord. The Watcher once again plunged her flying knife into the Dark Nest Lord's back, anchoring herself in the air.
The earlier situation left the Watcher feeling a wave of fear. Although Shimmering could be used continuously, each additional use doubled the consumption of her Blue Energy. It seemed that the ability to use Shimmering infinitely was actually limited in quantity. If it weren't for the intervention of the Moon Goddess, she would have truly perished here today.
Gratefully, she said, "Thank you, Moon Goddess, for saving my life."
Ye Feihong replied, "Be careful; I will take down those Dark Brainworms." He focused his Mental Power to lock onto their positions. Drawing his Tang Dao from its sheath, he refrained from using its full length to prevent the Dark Brainworms from employing their Zi Wu technique again.
