Reality is not as exaggerated as in comics. Even with the enhancement of the human body through Gene Serum, the maximum level achieved would only be comparable to that of a tiger or a lion. It is impossible to break through the limitations of Carbon-Based Life. The Felidae family has undergone millions of years of evolution to reach the pinnacle of combat among carbon-based organisms. Even with technological advancements, it is unlikely that they can become any more powerful.
These Gene Troops are quite formidable when dealing with humanity itself, but in the post-apocalyptic world, they fall short against dark creatures. They cannot replicate what is seen in movies, where a Gene-Modified Eagle Nation Captain can face an Alien Million Army alone.
In the Experimental Site, each individual has established themselves as a Farm Owner and built their own defensive Pits in preparation for an impending explosion. When these transport vehicles enter the site to place the Plant Bombs in the testing area, it signals that this operation is about to commence.
Meanwhile, in the sky, satellites from other countries are observing this location. The movement of thousands of transport trucks and numerous tanks cannot escape the notice of foreign reconnaissance. Everyone is eager to know the outcome. Will this human experiment yield results similar to Ye Feihong, a Farmer with extraordinary personal combat abilities?
In the Imperial Guard Monitoring Room, several guards are fixated on the images on their screens. The Eagle Head Kingdom seems insane; judging by the number of Plant Bombs, there must be at least tens of millions of tons involved. The main threat to humanity's defenses came from formidable dark beings such as the Dark Brainworm and the Dark Overlord. Generally, ordinary dark creatures could be held back by both military forces and farmers, and everyone was able to maintain their defenses.
The transport personnel began to evacuate, followed shortly by the Tank Legion leaving the area. The detonation button was not in the hands of the Eagle Head Kingdom's military, but rather in the possession of two individuals participating in the experiment: one man and one woman.
The man was a typical muscular giant from the Eagle Head Kingdom, his body strong and well-defined, with eight-pack abs radiating power. Before the apocalypse, he would have been recognized as a super tough guy, but in this post-apocalyptic world, he was no different from an ordinary person when facing dark creatures.
The woman beside him was fair-skinned and beautiful, with long golden hair and long legs. Her cold expression could not hide her stunning beauty. Both of them were genetic warriors; the man was codenamed Hawkeye, while the woman was codenamed Black Widow. They had been hiding in an underground defense facility, surrounded by a large number of Dark Plant Seeds.
"Black Widow: Are you ready? I hope to see you alive afterward."
Through the intercom, hearing Black Widow's voice, Hawkeye took a deep breath and replied in a low tone, "The countdown can begin."
Both of them were well aware of how dangerous this experiment was.
Just a dozen meters underground, they were utterly unprepared for such an explosion.
