Ye Feihong originally intended to establish his Fortress in this canyon. The location is quite similar to that of Heaven Gate, both being areas with strong defensive capabilities. Here, he could continuously attract large numbers of Dark Demons and eliminate them wave after wave. However, he never expected such an unexpected turn of events.
Within this Fortress, there were still many normal humans. This meant that Ye Feihong could not attack them. He had to choose the battlefield carefully, ensuring it was at least a thousand kilometers away from them. If a battle were to break out, it might affect the Fortress.
Ye Feihong was deep in thought, contemplating the future development plans. After all, the recent information had completely thrown his plans into disarray. This Fortress was meant to protect normal humans—a scenario he had never considered before.
The Paladin spoke up. "My friend, I wonder what brings you to our Fortress?" As the leader of these people, the Paladin needed to ascertain whether they were friends or foes.
Upon hearing this question, Ye Feihong realized he did not wish to be adversarial with them. He decided to lay everything out on the table.
I am a visitor from another realm, and my mission is quite simple: to eradicate the dark forces in this world. However, you Dark Humanity have surprised me.
The Amazon Warrior huffed, "How dare you underestimate us, Dark Humanity."
The Paladin spoke up, "Ordinary humans, once tainted by darkness, can indeed become mindless killing machines. Yet we Hero Units seem to be unaffected. But if you wish to defeat those demons, you still have a long way to go. You are not much stronger than us, Otherworldly Visitor."
As the Paladin unleashed his aura with full force, Ye Feihong felt an overwhelming power emanating from him. This Paladin was at least a Level One Hero Unit.
"You possess such formidable strength," Ye Feihong remarked. "You could easily wipe out those demons on the Ice Field."
The Amazon Warrior replied, "Killing them would be easy. These demons are merely underlings of the Butcher."
Through simple communication, they learned that beneath the Ice Field, five levels down, there lurked a terrifying demon known as the Butcher—a Great Demon of immense power. The Dark Demon Realm is not solely inhabited by the Nine Most Powerful Demons; there are many other horrifying monsters as well. They simply do not match the sheer terror of those nine apex demons.
Among the Dark Human Heroes present, the strongest Paladin was at Level One, while the others possessed at least Seventy Level strength. Their combat abilities were not inferior to those of the Moon Priestess and her companions.
Hearing that there was a not-so-strong Great Demon nearby perfectly aligned with Ye Feihong's requirements.
He was contemplating secretly establishing a base.
First, he would eliminate these not-so-strong Great Demons one by one. He needed to enhance his own strength and that of his Hero Units.
Then, Ye Feihong spoke up: "I am willing to help them kill the Butcher. Once we succeed, we will need a guide familiar with the map; I want to establish my own base in this realm."
Both parties had mutual interests. Although they belonged to different factions, they shared the common goal of eliminating the Dark Demons.
The Paladin agreed to Ye Feihong's request and promised to send a Mage and an Amazon Warrior to assist them. These two choices were made after careful consideration. The Mage was essential because she possessed a skill that allowed her to create portals. If Ye Feihong was not a match for the Butcher...
