The King of Suffering had no time to rest.
Once again, a torrent of lava cascaded down, transforming the ground beneath its feet into a new Sea of Lava.
Even more terrifying was the sight above. A multitude of Metal Plant Aircraft appeared in the sky, rapidly merging into several massive Death Stars. The thick Naval Cannons began their assault from above, targeting the King of Suffering.
Giant Pea Cannons unleashed fierce attacks on its body. Faced with such relentless onslaughts, the already injured King of Suffering could no longer endure and let out a wail of suffering, filled with despair and unwillingness.
The enemy, seizing the opportunity during its full eruption, denied it any chance for close combat. Instead, they continuously employed various tactics to drain the King of Suffering's vitality. It was a dire situation; it couldn't strike back effectively, nor could it locate Ye Feihong's body.
Escape was impossible as the opponent's Sea of Lava could shift swiftly. With countless Plant Battleships looming in the sky, the King of Suffering felt utterly trapped. Powerless to retaliate and unable to flee, it was suffocated by an overwhelming sense of frustration.
In a state filled with despair and unwillingness, one could only be continuously consumed by Ye Feihong. This battle lasted for five hours. The battlefield shifted several kilometers. The King of Suffering, until its last breath, never laid a finger on Ye Feihong.
As one of the Nine Great Demon Kings, its Defense Power was incredibly formidable. It endured at least ten thousand attacks before ultimately being slain by Ye Feihong. What remained was a blood-red Crystal, resembling the Tree of Life that hung around Ye Feihong's neck, though it was not the same.
Inside this Crystal resided the purest form of Painful Power. As long as this Crystal remained intact, the King of Suffering would absorb the surrounding Suffering, waiting for its strength to recover. After a long passage of time, it would resurrect once more. This was also the reason why the Nine Great Demons could not be killed but only sealed.
Ye Feihong would not merely seal the King of Suffering. In the Lava Ocean, Ye Feihong's figure emerged. He approached and picked up the red Crystal formed from the King of Suffering. The Crystal showed no signs of struggle; instead, it seemed to harbor an immense hope.
Diablo became the most powerful demon precisely because he obtained the body of humanity's strongest. The human before him was that very embodiment.
Equally powerful.
The lingering consciousness of the King of Suffering was filled with excitement, hoping that Ye Feihong would use the same method. His own body had sealed him away. Even if he were suppressed by Ye Feihong for several years, eventually, he would occupy this body and become an immensely powerful demon.
However, he was clearly overthinking.
In front of Ye Feihong's chest, the seed of the Furnace Tree of Life rapidly transformed into a massive Furnace Tree of Life. The gaping mouth in the center of the tree revealed the terrifying flames within.
Ye Feihong took the King of Suffering's Crystal and tossed it inside. In the Dark Demon Realm, there was no power that could kill him, but that did not mean Ye Feihong lacked such power. The Furnace Tree of Life excelled at refining various items.

This refining process lasted for three whole days and nights. In the end, the King of Suffering perished. Ye Feihong obtained a gem, which he had the Dwarf King install into the handle of his Tang Dao. This gem would allow Ye Feihong's Tang Dao to unleash the power of Suffering.
