"I can't believe this; there must be some mistake," Alice said, shaking her head, her voice tinged with helplessness. "I'm just an ordinary girl. My parents are merchants, and all I do every day is help out at home and take care of my younger siblings." 0

Cassius looked at her, his gaze filled with understanding and sympathy. "I know this is hard for you to accept, but the power you just displayed, those strange symbols, and your connection with the stars all prove that you are Starborn. Moreover, the dark forces have already noticed your existence; they will not spare you or this world." 0

Images of terrifying monsters flashed through Alice's mind, and she knew Cassius was not lying. Yet, she still couldn't fathom what she was about to face. "What should I do?" she asked. 0

"You need to come with me to the territory of the Elves. There, you can receive training to learn how to control your Star Power and discover more about the Starry Illusion Continent," Cassius replied. 0

Alice hesitated; she didn't want to leave her family or the small town she had lived in for so many years. But she also understood that if the dark forces attacked, everyone in her town would be in danger. Finally, she gritted her teeth and made up her mind. "Okay, I'll go with you." 0

Cassius led Alice on their journey to the Elven territory. Along the way, they traversed dense forests, steep mountains, and rushing rivers. Cassius introduced Alice to various magical creatures and phenomena they encountered, and she gradually began to understand more about this enchanting world. 0

However, their movements did not escape the notice of the dark forces. The dark sorcerer Morlock sent one of his trusted subordinates, a skilled Dark Assassin, to quietly follow them. 0

As they crossed a valley, Cassius suddenly sensed a hint of danger. He stopped in his tracks and scanned the surroundings warily. "There are enemies nearby, Alice; be careful." 0

Alice clenched her fists nervously; she had not yet fully mastered her Star Power and felt a surge of anxiety. Suddenly, a shadow darted out from behind a nearby rock, brandishing two sharp curved blades as it lunged toward them. 0

Cassius swiftly drew his sword to confront the attacker; steel clashed against blade, sending sparks flying. The Dark Assassin moved with incredible speed, launching a flurry of attacks at Cassius like a torrential storm. Although Cassius was an excellent guardian of the Elves, in this narrow valley facing such an agile foe left him somewhat overwhelmed. 0

Alice watched anxiously from the side as she tried to concentrate and summon her Star Power. The strange symbols flickered in her mind, but she struggled to release her power as smoothly as before. 0

The Dark Assassin noticed Alice's intent and suddenly changed direction, charging toward her. Cassius gasped in shock; he wanted to intervene but was too late. 0

Alice closed her eyes in terror, thinking she was about to meet her end under the assassin's blades when a warm force surged from within her body. She opened her eyes to find a faint shield of starlight surrounding her; the Dark Assassin's blades were deflected by the shield. 0

A surge of joy filled Alice as she felt her connection with Star Power grow stronger. She began to actively try to control this power, gathering it into her hands. 0
