On the vast, boundless grasslands, the once fierce winds and swirling sands of recent days had given way to a much gentler breeze. The soft wind caressed the emerald earth like the tender touch of Qi Qin, soothing the landscape.
Looking up, one could see the sky, a brilliant blue like a sapphire, resembling a massive and pure sapphire dome suspended high above. Its clarity was so profound that one could almost gaze into its depths. This expansive blue sky seamlessly connected with the endless green grass below, creating a breathtakingly beautiful tableau.
Lin Feng led his army as they slowly approached Uto City. Although they were still some distance away, the imposing presence of the towering fortress could be felt even from afar, emanating an aura that was both chilling and awe-inspiring.
Standing atop the city walls, Hulanmu's gaze was sharp as he focused intently on the approaching dark mass of soldiers and horses in the distance. He thought to himself: They have finally arrived!
At that moment, many soldiers on the walls also took notice of this sight. They began to whisper among themselves. Some couldn't help but laugh derisively: "They think they can attack our impregnable Uto City with just this small force? It's nothing but a fool's dream!"
However, at this moment, Lin Feng and his troops held entirely different thoughts and calculations than those of Hulanmu and his defenders. Lin Feng looked up at the towering fortress that loomed before him like a giant beast and understood clearly that launching a direct assault would be akin to striking a rock with an egg—almost impossible.

With a grave expression, Hulanmu turned to instruct the soldiers nearby: "Keep a close watch on every move of the Wu Kingdom Army. If you notice anything unusual, report back immediately!"
Having said this, he turned and hurried down from the city walls, making his way swiftly toward his residence.
As soon as he entered the courtyard, Hulanmu shouted loudly, "Someone! Quickly summon Hulan Zhuo to see me!"
His voice echoed in the empty courtyard.
Upon hearing this, his subordinates did not dare to delay and hurriedly set off to find him.
Time passed slowly, and after a while, Hulan Zhuo finally arrived, panting heavily.
Seeing this, Hulanmu got straight to the point and asked, "I tasked you with investigating that rumor. Have you found any results?"
Hulan Zhuo's expression faltered as he hesitated to respond, "General, please calm your anger. I am incompetent; I have yet to determine the root of this rumor."
Before he could finish speaking, Hulanmu's brows furrowed in anger as he shouted, "What a useless fool!"
Hulan Zhuo trembled in fear, cold sweat instantly soaking his back. He replied timidly, "Yes, yes, you are right, General."
For a moment, the entire hall fell into a heavy silence; both men were silent, and the atmosphere was tense enough to be suffocating.
After a while, Hulanmu took a deep breath to calm himself slightly and spoke slowly, "Forget it; there is no need for you to continue pursuing this matter for now."
